I bought this today and after using it for 3 hours, I noticed there was a burn mark near the edge of the tv and a small gray line that goes from on end to the other. I didn’t think it would cause me any trouble on the first day of use. Have protection plan with this tv or else buy another brand.

    NOT A GOOD PURCHASE

Not a good purchase~ Loved the TV and thought the clarity and quality was fantastic.... UNTIL .... TODAY! Almost exactly 2 years and it now has lines through the screen etc and is junk! Normal use, had it on a wall mount and was not abused at all! No markes, scratches or nothing. It powered on one day and had a glitch, now there is lines on/threw the screen and and or a black bar and the resolution is off. It will work and function, however the board or something is shorting out as there is lines through the screen when watching. Warranty is 1 year, the 2 year warranty you have to buy SEPERATE was 1 month past the deadline. Best buy said they could not do anything... Now i am stuck buying a new TV or paying about the same amount to have it repaired. I filled out this review not for a gift card, but as a buyer beware. I have bought Insignia TV's before, but I will not buy them again.

Purchased this TV in June of 2022 and in December 2023 I started having vertical lines in the center portion of the screen. TV is out of warranty so no option on repair/replacement. I was happy with the product prior to this problem but disappointed that it only lasted 1.5 years.

I’ll never buy another Insignia TV or FireTV! Extremely laggy, slow, and the slowest downloads yet on a TV. Constantly kicks from settings, stuck in endless updates. TCL is definitely a much better TV. Even if it’s for my daughters room, returning this right after the holidays. The photo is even of it stuck on blank screen and infinite download of apps. I cannot express how horrible this TV is.

Was a great tv for all of 3 weeks love the fire TV integration but the picture started to show lines starting from left side getting lighter towards the right that get darker the longer the TV is on. I've been in contact with insignia customer support emailing back and forth for a couple weeks and still don't have it resolved will update review when it's fixed or replaced

6 months outside of warranty, with no prior issues, the video stopped working. The screen now shows a flickering mostly white screen with grey bars and datk edges. Tried factory reset with no change. The tv's speakers still works...though they weren't great to begin with. The tv was used for 1 to 2 hours at a time, several tines a week (bedroom tv), no gaming, no external devices except a Vizio soundbar. While looking for avreplacemnt, it seems a newer Vizio model, m58q7-j01, is having similar issues after aa little as a week of use per the reviews on this site.

This TV conked out on me after only about 2.-1/2 months. It displays vertical and horizontal streaking and flickers. I would give it zero stars if I could. See photo.

I have a 4 year old Insignia Roku TV. This model is a little better all the way around. Picture quality is a bit better with a slight better contrast, and better color (more rich). Not a big difference, but noticeable side by side watching a baseball game on sling. There is no comparison with my 4 year old Vizio 32" D series which is more dull and lifeless in comparison. Sound is a BIG step up. This TV has good sound, like surprisingly good sound for a small flat screen. I was really surprised and pleased with the richness of the sound. Better than the older Insignia and miles better than my 32" Vizio D series which has the worst sound ever in a TV. So this is a Fire TV instead of the old Roku. I like it well enough. It is more responsive and quicker to load apps. Videos load very quickly compared to the older Insignia FireTV navigation is OK, not the biggest fan, but the snappiness of the interface makes up for it. There are plenty of apps available just like Roku. It had everything I wanted. I do like that you can arrange the apps list so your most commonly used apps are first (for me sling, netflix, amazon prime and MLBtv). I am only using it as a smart TV and not using inputs. I have read it can be a pain because the TV does not remember the last input used when turned on (read other reviews to find out of this has been fixed down the road). This may have been, or has already been addressed with an update and I bet it is firmware related. The TV is so new I assume an eventual update will take care of it. Is the TV worth it? For a sub $200 TV with a 5 year warranty for $40... it's a keeper for sure. I mean with the warranty it cost what the other name brand 32" 1080p TVs cost and it very nice. Better than my old insignia or my Vizio 32" D series. Buy it with the extended warranty and just don't worry about it. Other things of note: 2.4 and 5ghz wireless capability -nice. Has low lag game mode for consoles. Bluetooth for game controllers mice and keyboards (does not say it works with speakers). Sleep timer. Excellent and very customizable accessibility options. Interestingly the old Roku tv remote works with this new one.

    Beautiful Picture, But Awful Remote.

The Good: 1. Beautiful picture. It’s a 1080p, so the image is much better than a standard HD 720p. 2. Good price. 3. Runs cool and not too hot. 4. Light weight. 5. Good looking frame. 6. Good connectivity. The Bad: 1. Awful remote. There is no numeric keypad! You cannot enter 1-3 if you want to watch channel 13. You will need to figure out another way to get to channel 209, including scrolling all the way there. There is no Exit button, but there are dedicated buttons for the Disney Channel and Hulu. I did buy a remote from an online source, but it’s an old remote style and doesn’t have all the features of the new remote. It does have a numeric keypad though. 2. Slow as molasses. Slow to start up. Slow to scroll through channels. Slow to respond. Bottom Line: I want another 32” tv for another room, but there is no way I’m going to put myself through the rigamarole of buying another remote just so I can watch tv properly. I’ll just spend extra money for another 1080p screen that allows me to watch tv with a normal remote.

Love the tv - picture is clear and easy to use. Only issue is that for some reason the on/off does not work on the remote. Which would not be an issue if the tv itself have controls but it doesn't. So have to unplug manually to restart it. For the money though it is worth it.
