It’s not nearly as efficient nor does it freeze the ice as well. Unlike the Emerson, the ice is extremely wet and starts melting immediately if we don’t transfer it into the freezer as soon as it drops. It doesn’t last as long in the drinks either.

Now it barely puts out one tray of ice daily. So maybe less than a quarter of rated output? The refrigeration coils do get really hot but they're clean, and not crowded, plenty of airflow.

There was water in it and I had it set on small cubes. But it didn't do anything after it made about ten ice cubes. I sent it back. Don't think I'll purchase another one

Issue is that there is no cooling so the ice needs to be removed quickly or it will melt back into water hopper. Needs to be able to make and store frozen ice.
