Seems to be sturdy. Has a continuous drain that uses a garden hose connection, which is what I was looking for. The only draw back is that my old Kenmore dehumidifier had a timer that you could set and it stayed set. With this new one, your auto on/off is only good for 24 hours. It kind of defeats the purpose of having auto on/off. I miss Sears for these type of appliances. But so far this looks like a decent replacement.

I love the fact that it has a timer so you don’t have to remember to turn it off. One downside is that the instructions are not very clear so you have to figure out what each button is for.
