A: I ran into same problem and almost returned it. You need to turn off both the Comfort and Continues options. To turn those options off, press on their respective buttons. When they are off the green light should be off for these options. One those options are off and the humidifier is running then press on the up and down buttons to adjust the desired humidity levels.
