Customers are saying

Customers love the 35-Pint Dehumidifier for its performance, quiet noise level, and ease of use. Many are pleased with its humidity control, price, and size, noting its effectiveness in removing moisture. While some find the weight heavier than expected, and others wish they had purchased a larger capacity model, the positive aspects generally outweigh these concerns. A few customers mentioned its energy consumption.

Garage shop perfect Hose connect option.

Has a drain to let the water out if you have a place it can drain and avoid having to keep dumping a bucket. It does NOT come with a pump, so you'll have to be sure the hose goes downhill to drain via gravity.

Well it removed a ton of water is just two days however it made my house about 5 degrees warmer by blowing hot air out which is a big deal as the temp is already 105f in my town. I had to return it unfortunately. If you live in a cold state then this should be a 5 star no problem.

I didn't realize how much a humidifier can help with the damp smell in some areas of my house. I was surprised that it pulled out so much water when I emptied it. It actually does lower the humidity. The build quality seems quite sturdy as well. It can get somewhat loud, but it works well. I am very pleased.

Purchased this dehumidifier to replace an older one that stopped working. As soon as it was plugged in it worked and took care of the problem of extra humidity in our basement. It has different setting to adjust to your needs.

It works great! My daughter just moved into college and the dorm is pretty old. We were told they get very humid and should purchase a dehumidifier. Not really knowing anything about them we chose this one based on reviews and so glad that we did. Highly recommend this product.

The Insignia™ - 35-Pint Dehumidifier arrived in a timely manor and the package was in very good condition. My last Dehumidifier only worked for one summer, it was a different brand so purchased this Insignia brand and I hope this one lasts a lot longer.

Works well and nice displays but 2 problems - the big one is it is hard to pull out the tub to empty the water - that is pretty ridiculous. Second if you set it to run continuously - as in emptying from hose into drain - you cannot set the humidity level to work on "comfortable' level - kind of ridiculous too, but not as serious as the first issue.

These just keep on working. I have bought many dehumidifiers over the past 30 years (most more expensive than this one), and this model has lasted the longest, and the old one just keeps on trucking. I bought this new one for a different area of the basement.

It's the second time I bought a Best Buy - Insignia brand and all are working so far. This dehumidifier has not failed us since we picked it up from the store and turned it on 24/7. Highly recommended.

This INSIGNIA 35 PINT DEHUMIDIFIER is working perfectly. Our air conditioner thermostat is set to 75°, it's August, in Chicago (suburbs), outdoors 80% humidity with a dew point of 70°. My bride and I are enjoying 40% humidity indoors. Our air conditioner operates less and we are really comfortable.

So far it seems to work fine. The container isn't particularly large but if you're around to empty it, or have a drain to use instead, it's fine. It's about as much noise as average. I've had some glitches with the controls where it would not adjust the humidity level until it was unplugged for a brief period. I'm worried it may not work long / may break soon as it's glitchy brand new. The price was right at 40% off retail.
