Bought for the wife. We had it on in the room 11x15 for 2hrs. Did not do much. We called Insignia and they said we we’re doing everything right. So it went back to Bestbuy. Sorry Bestbuy still love your merchandise it my have been defective

In 3 days of use it only pulled about 2 tablespoons of water in my basement. Another unit I have pulled a gallon of water a day. I returned the unit.

Unfortunately the unit I purchased was defective. I was not able to control the humidity level. Pressing the button did nothing, so I had to return it and purchase a more expensive item

Not very effective, had to return this item. Item cannot help reduce humidity

This dehumidifier gets the area very warm while in operation. Counterproductive for Florida climate.

This was absolutely awful. It broke within a year.

I have not opened the box as I want to return to store and get another one. Box came worn out and have several rips.

Terrible will not collect any water. Neither Insignia or Best Buy will help to fix this

So far so good does the job and is quiet Only drawback is that removing and replacing the bucket is tricky you have to position it just so which is trial and error

We just moved down South and one of the things we were told was to make sure we got a good dehumidifier. The first week we arrived the heat index soared as well as the humidity level, we got to put this to the test right away and it worked like a charm. Our home is one level, 1800 sq, no complaints at all.

I had this unit for almost three years and still going. I live in Texas and I only ran them when needed, It did take out a lot of water in the air during humid days. sometimes I have to dump the water out from the bucket every day. The price of the unit has increased over last three years. I hope it is on sale again with a good price so I can buy a spare unit, just in case.

I had a similar sized unit by another company I thought did a good job keeping my shop reasonably dry. Now I know what a great dehumidifier is. This thing is keeping my 500 sq ft concrete block shop dry as a bone.

Easy to use, quiet when running and working great! We have a large lower level that always seemed a bit damp no matter if we ran AC in summer or heat in winter. This dehumidifier pulled out that dampness and has made the area much more comfortable-a very noticeable and welcome difference!

This thing is a beast at removing water! When its really high humidity it puts out some heat while working. it's heavy but rolls around easily on the wheels. I was trying to gently put the water tank back in but it works fine with a good push. Of the 3 dehumidifiers I have had this is the best by far.

We bought this dehumidifier to use in a humid basement. The house is about 1100 sf, and the specs on this said it would work in areas up to 3000 sf. We didn't want to get something that was too small to do the job, and this was perfect. It has dropped our humidity level over 30% and the space is much more comfortable, and, its not too loud. We bought a condensate pump to pump the excess water outside as we don't have floor drains, and we no longer have to empty the reservoir 4 times a day! I would buy another if needed and and recommend to others.

Size is perfect for my half basement, quiet and looks nice in the area

I had a Hisense humidifier prior to this Insignia. I can’t believe how much quieter the Insignia is. Works great too.

Wow, this is the best dehumidifier we've ever had. It pulls moisture that we didn't realize was in the air. We use in our basement and have to empty it about ever 12 hours. There is no longer a damp smell or feel of moisture when we go downstairs to work out or do laundry. I highly recommend this brand.

Excellent product & price! Very quiet & pulls out so much humidity...love it!

I actually just bought 3 of these and I can't believe how well they work! I should have bought them sooner. I get so much moisture in my house and this has made such a difference!
