I haven't used it yet because I read in the booklet that it can't be used near gas-burning appliances (like my furnace and water heater). My plan is to use it on my main floor this summer. I had ordered it for the basement. There it sits. I'm assuming that it will be "excellent" next summer upstairs.

Easy to move from room to room. Easy to empty without spilling.

Had this running nonstop in my basement for 3 years straight with no issues, have it hooked up direct to a drain so I never have to empty it, it just runs and auto shuts off when the basement hits the right percentage. No complaints.

I called ahead to purchase a dehumidifier and when I arrived they had it ready and service desk was very professional. The experience was fantastic and would definitely recommend Best buy to everyone.

We've used this in a high humid area daily for three years and it's still working well. We have to empty it two to three times a day (one of the few drawbacks of living in South Alabama.)

So far so good. It collects a lot of water - I have to empty the container daily. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the container that collects the water is a little hard to put back on - you have to line it up perfectly and try to push it in on both sides at the same time, which can be tricky since it is on rollers, so it moves back.

The unit is noisy and is set at 35%. It only hits the 45% mark in a 1500 square foot basement in a new house.

I’ve had it for over 4 years and it has been the longest lasting dehumidifier I’ve purchased.

So far it's good. Humidistat is accurate and it's not ridiculously loud.

Works well. The directions say it uses a 5/8” hose but a regular hose connects

Works fine, but the fan will run continuously whether or not target humidity is achieved. Other dehumidifier’s automatically will regulate the on/off function of the fan on the unit.

If you are in the market for a dehumidifier, this Insignia will fit the bill. Get it on sale, get the 50.

No attachment for a hose. Dependent on the water reservoir. Would like to be able to drain into the laundry sink.

We connected a water hose, but the water bucket kept filling anyways. It wouldn’t push the water through the hose and we were using continuous mode. I returned the unit.

I bought this for our main bed room. My wife is very sensitive to humidity, so I hope it is not too noisy.

So loud and runs nearly nonstop. Definitely not worth the money. Would not recommend this product.
