Purchased this dehumidifier to replace an older one that stopped working. As soon as it was plugged in it worked and took care of the problem of extra humidity in our basement. It has different setting to adjust to your needs.

These just keep on working. I have bought many dehumidifiers over the past 30 years (most more expensive than this one), and this model has lasted the longest, and the old one just keeps on trucking. I bought this new one for a different area of the basement.

I have had only great experiences shopping at Best Buy

This INSIGNIA 35 PINT DEHUMIDIFIER is working perfectly. Our air conditioner thermostat is set to 75°, it's August, in Chicago (suburbs), outdoors 80% humidity with a dew point of 70°. My bride and I are enjoying 40% humidity indoors. Our air conditioner operates less and we are really comfortable.

It's the second time I bought a Best Buy - Insignia brand and all are working so far. This dehumidifier has not failed us since we picked it up from the store and turned it on 24/7. Highly recommended.

So far it seems to work fine. The container isn't particularly large but if you're around to empty it, or have a drain to use instead, it's fine. It's about as much noise as average. I've had some glitches with the controls where it would not adjust the humidity level until it was unplugged for a brief period. I'm worried it may not work long / may break soon as it's glitchy brand new. The price was right at 40% off retail.

After my old dehumidifier failed, I ordered the Insignia dehumidifier and I've been very pleased with the results. It's easy to set up and has multiple settings allowing for different ways to operate. I would highly recommend it!

I picked up this dehumidifier on a deal of the day and paid 129.99. A week later it was $10 cheaper so I got a refund for it. This was a replacement for our old 20 year old one that used a lot of electricity. This unit is energy efficient and time and our electric bill will tell.

Purchased online and did curbside pickup. Was a smooth process. This unit works great in the basement. They all make noise but I just open the basement door to see if I hear it and empty it if it's not running. You can hook a hose up to it and run it to a drain.

I'd say it's pretty much your average dehumidifier it gets moisture out of the air

Works as described. The only issue i have with this is the collection bucket is difficult to open but even more difficult to close. Have to hit the sides in order for it to close completely. Not ideal but works well otherwise for the price.

Get the job done really collects the moisture very well.

This works okay. Definitely doesn't work as well as the 50 pint. Otherwise okay.

Does what it's supposed to well. The only complaint is the bucket is odd shaped with lots of grooves, which makes dumping it a bit messy and seems like it might allow more chances for mold build-up and might make cleaning it harder.

We had to replace our old dehumidifier. I saw this one at an excellent price and purchased it. It is very attractive and the biggest plus is how quiet it runs. So far it has worked perfectly and I can tell our basement is much drier. I am very happy with my purchase.
