We bought this dehumidifier to use in a humid basement. The house is about 1100 sf, and the specs on this said it would work in areas up to 3000 sf. We didn't want to get something that was too small to do the job, and this was perfect. It has dropped our humidity level over 30% and the space is much more comfortable, and, its not too loud. We bought a condensate pump to pump the excess water outside as we don't have floor drains, and we no longer have to empty the reservoir 4 times a day! I would buy another if needed and and recommend to others.

Wow, this is the best dehumidifier we've ever had. It pulls moisture that we didn't realize was in the air. We use in our basement and have to empty it about ever 12 hours. There is no longer a damp smell or feel of moisture when we go downstairs to work out or do laundry. I highly recommend this brand.

Sleek look, easy to set up, and not too loud. I live in Hawaii with no AC and it works great in the bedrooms to keep everything cool and dry.

This solved all my problems in my 750 sq ft., 4 room apartment. It can be moved from room to room but not necessary. The windows quit sweating causing mold in the windowsills, my printer paper was no longer damp, etc. The results are in the water reservoir I pour out every other day. No problems with the machine. I highly recommend.

This humidifier is identical to the Toshiba brand and must be made by the same manufacturer. It performs very well, completely filling its reservoir about every eight hours, even as we run the air conditioner full-time. I’m astonished by how much moisture this pulls from the air. Removed one star just due to how loud the unit is. Also, be aware that dehumidifiers blow very warm air as they work, so it competes with the AC.

This unit efficiently sucks the moisture out of the basement. Very pleased!
