Hi, I do not recommend this air conditioner. I've left it on all day and it does not cool down my small bedroom (less than 100 sq feet). It's been sitting at 80 degrees for the past four hours. It is also incredibly loud. I'm not sure if I've just received a lemon or if the 5 star reviews for this are fake. Overall this air conditioner was a huge disappointment and unfortunately best buy has only a 15 day return policy so I can't return it.

This is really cool . I like this device very much. It’s pretty simple to assemble and get to work.

Bought it online open box excellent condition. Which in the excellent condition its supposed to come looking brand new with everything with it.. Well mine came with broken plastic on the back, Broken hose adapter. The round plastic wasnt even attached to the tube. To go the extra mile on the nice excellent condition a/c it came with no window insert.

Purchased eight of these and they’re terrible! We ended up putting in what old air conditioners we had left after giving some away! One sits under Our thermostat. The air-conditioner says 61 thermostat says 80 I believe the thermostat.! Stay away! Don’t buy! We replaced our air-conditioners to avoid The cheap look of them hanging out the window, only to replace them with a piece of junk taking up space with a huge tube that lays across the room.so disappointed...

Bought this for the little warm days we have in SF and so far works well for my bedroom. Little noisy is the only problem because I’m not used to noisy places. But can’t complain about it because it cools down my bedroom very well. The remote control is a plus so you don’t have to get up to control the temp.

Bought this to use upstairs in Slider windows for a bedroom. The window vent kit just needed a little trim in length to fit the horizonaltal slider window. Not a problem. The unit cools nicely and really makes cold air. The remote is handy to turn on and off as well a adjust the temperature. Really like the unobtrusive look from outside the home as the vent kit is really not noticed like a typical window AC would be from the outside. Inside unit is fairly large but sits upright and does not take up a huge amount of space. I would recommend this unit.

The A/C is for my small office. Blows really cool but it is way too loud to talk on phone when the unit is on. The remote helps me turn on and off when calls come in. Im in a office inside a big office that gets too warm and the extremely large units that can not cool my office separately. I have unit on top of a very tall file cabinet due to very short hose that lets the heat escape.

Works great, puts out plenty of cold air and keeps our 300 sq ft master bed room at 75 deg when it's 90 to 100 deg's outside. Easy to install and little loud I can not here TV sound when I use this AC Moves easily around on the floor, has wheels. You can direct the air flow up or down only but having wheels you can move it side to side. We got it for under $200 on sale.

Good size works great. Easy to setup. Cools the room down fast.

I purchased this for my college student. I wanted this kind of unit because is can be moved anywhere. As long as you have access to a window. It’s more compact than other units. But cools FANTASTIC.

I bought this compact A/C Unit for my son who lives on the second story of a very old small office/apartment building. This unit does what the advertisement says it would and keeps an otherwise hot compact apartment cool and much more enjoyable especially considering the building was built in the mid 30's.

I have lived in the coastal mountains south of San Francisco for more than 20 years and never needed an air conditioner. The fog kept things cool at night. But with climate change, it's starting to stay hot all afternoon in my home office on the second floor. Hot enough that a fan could not keep up. It was uncomfortably hot. So I bought this air conditioner and it cooled the office down by 10 degrees in half an hour. Sure, when you turn it off it heated right back up just as quickly. But I keep it on when I'm working, and at night I roll it into the bedroom and enjoy a great night's sleep on the dozen or so super-hot nights each summer. Otherwise, the fog's my natural air conditioner.

I have central ac. I bought this unit because one room in my house is in direct sunlight for a good part of the day (it never really gets cool) The Insignia (350 sq. ft.) met this need perfectly. Now, I can actually turn off the central air and keep that room cool. The reason that I'm only giving it 4 stars, is that the specs. sheet is lacking. The paperwork shows where the filter is , but not how to access it. I had to go to a separate website to find out. Overall, very pleased...nice purchase.

Think about it for a minute with window air conditioners - most of the unit is OUTSIDE the window and so are the mechanics with units like this the ENTIRE unit is in the room with you and so is all that noise from the air compressed - fan - etc. while it did blow crisp - cold air the noise level was just too loud for a bed room

Bought this portable AC for my small apartment. It works perfectly and turns on quickly and make the room very cool.But it is too loudly ,I have to return it .

Never really experienced using non-central A/C but it was a great first experience. It does have noise but it doesn’t bother me. I keep it on cool low and at 72 degrees and I’m freezing in a small room. Window insert didn’t fit but have one piece in with some opening on the sides that hasn’t made a difference. I don’t know when to drain it but do it every two weeks. Definitely would buy this brand again when the time comes to cool more rooms!

This AC does a great job cooling a small bedroom, south-facing bedroom. It's noisy, but that is to be expected. It would be nice to have auto-shutoff when the thermostat hits the set temp.

So far this unit has been working great. It cools a bedroom easily since it can cool up to 350 sq feet. The only issue is that it is a bit noisy even on the low speed when cooling.
