The plug is too lose I connected it to different sockets and it’s still lose to where it looks like it’s plugged in all the way but devices are not charging.

I purchased the wrong one, so had to buy another one.

I would avoid it all costs. quit working after three months, and sparks started coming from the cube. Took it back to Best Buy to exchange out and was told it was out of the 15 day warranty. Left it on the counter so they could dispose of it.

Brought it and it died within a month. Doesnt charge at all

I returned this as it was sending too much current to my device and didn't adjust current. Purchased a ANKER as a replacement, it works great.

In order to get this box to work, I have to hold it down until it reaches the contacts in the outlet. In the meantime, as it intermittently hits the contacts, it creates sparks. A total failure in every outlet in my house. Will return ASAP.

Great companion charger for Apple devices that no longer come with charger blocks. Advantage being that it has two USB-C type ports to charge two Apple devices simultaneously with a decent fast charge when both are connected. Granted the 35watts is split and clocked down when two devices are plugged in at the same time, but it still provides more standard charging power to one of the devices while the other is still charging. The charger block itself is very compact with a folding prong for travel storage. When plugged into the outlet, it is small enough to allow for the other plug of a dual outlet to still be used. The overall size is about 1.5” either way. This is very nice when using a laptop in conjunction with charging two devices and not using usb ports on your laptop for charging. With one device plugged in, depending on how low the battery charge is, let’s say 15 percent, the initial fast or rapid charge provides a decent refill up to about 80 percent charge within the first 15 – 25 minutes. It does seem that when you reach optimal charge, it does slow down a little bit, but charges fully within 45 minutes to an hour no matter how low the charge. I would assume all this depends on your battery health and age of your device. So these numbers are based on a few charges on my phone, watch, and tablet. I am very pleased to have another option for fast charging at a decent price compared to other brands that have cornered the market for some time.

Got this so I could charge my watch and phone on the same outlet. Worked fine at first then stopped after two months. Not sure if it is the folding prongs, they don’t feel solid. Last time I plugged it in, I saw a spark come off, so I’m done trying.

With all of our Apple gadgets like iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods, it's a bit of a hassle trying to grab each power brick for each item. Then, when we get to where we're going, we have to hope there's enough open outlets for each device. But with everything going USB-C route now, I decided it was time to give up the USB-A ghost and update my cables and travel chargers. Since I'm starting to travel again for work, I wanted a device that could charge my iPad Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods and this device was perfect. From a size perspective, it's not much different compared to the 10/12v power bricks that Apple used to include with their iPads, including the foldable power prongs - meaning you can fold the power prongs into the charger brick for travel and you don't have to worry about them bending. So what I typically did was charge my iPad Pro during the day while I was at work and then would charge my Apple Watch and iPhone at night - and this thing worked flawlessly. It's not the strongest charger on the block by any means, but it works perfect for my use case. Another thing I look for with chargers is how hot they get and I was happy to see that I didn't feel any concerning amount of heat coming from the block while it was charging. If you're looking for a great little travel buddy that can charge multiple devices over USB-C - then this is what you're looking for!

It lasted for a while but started causing sparks when inserted

Two days in and the hinge on the foldable plug already is flimsy. Can someone create a sturdier multiport USB-C?

It worked for 2 months and then it is stopped working. I would not recommend this.

The Insignia - 35W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger is great! This thing charges super fast, and I love the fact that you have two ports in one charger. You have a phone/watch port as well as a tablet charging port. The Insignia - 35W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger unit is around the same size as your original charger, if not a bit smaller. I can not charge two devices at the same time. I have to admit, when I am in a hurry, I use the 35w port to charge my phone faster. I enjoy being able to charge my ipad much quicker now. For the price, you really can't go wrong. A genuine charger for your device will be way too much, and you only get one port. No more having to wait for my son's tablet or phone to charge. We can charge both of our devices at the same time. My son is constantly using his ipad for school work and for game playing. He was always charging his devices and I hated having to wait. Overall, the Insignia - 35W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger is great and charges my devices very quickly. I would definitely recommend the Insignia - 35W Dual Port USB-C Compact Wall Charger to anyone in the market for a new charger.

I didn’t work, when I connected to electricity it failed

Over the years, Insignia has really developed into a household brand. Really a house brand for Best Buy, they have been making affordable options that look great and function just as well as the larger names brands. Personally, I get a lot of Insignia products, mainly accessories for my electronics. I really love their phone cases. The Insignia 35W dual port USB-C wall charger is another great release for them. I use it for my iPhone and iPad Pro, which both require a USB-C port outlet. The construction of the device is quality and everything feels well made. The plug folds into the body to allow for portability. Does it charge any faster than the parent brand? I’m not sure, but it claims to be fast charging. Personally I don’t see a difference in charging time at all. So it’s at least a similar speed. The best part is of course that you can charge two devices at the same time, vice one at a time. And to top it off it’s a significantly better price. Win win right? No brainer really, if you need a dual port USB-C wall plug this is the one for you. I’d definitely get another one if I needed to and I highly recommend it.

I'm very happy with the Insignia 35W USB-C wall charger. For a dual charging wall dongle, it is quite small, allowing it to be used nearly anywhere. It has 2 USB-C outputs, which can charge anything, including cell phones, laptops, drones, earbuds, headphones, battery backups, etc. I wanted to point out that this charger is not specific to Apple products, it works on anything that supports the USB-C standard. This is great, since I have a blended family, as half of us half Android phones, and half have Apple phones, but we can all charge easily in the kitchen with this wall charging dongle. Do keep in mind that if you are using both ports at the same time, one port will output 8 watts and the other will output 27 watts. Also, if you are ordering online , you may not be able to see the size of the box, but when you see it, it is obvious that no cables are included with the wall charger, so if you are needing extra cables, order them when you order the Insignia wall charger. Finally, I am always thankful for plugs that can fold away, as it makes it much more convenient for traveling, and these plugs fold in, which is perfect.

As a USB-C device it'll work with any item needing a USB-C charger. The plug folds away against the body of the device. It's very compact, lightweight, so you can slip it into a case to take with you anywhere. Very portable, so you can plug in anywhere with high charge rates. It's white with faint gray lettering near the ports. Even at full charge it did not get hot to the touch. I used on an apple phone with an adapter and it work fine. I used it with a samsung phone and got high speed charging with no issues. The USB-C port in the more middle position will give a full 35W charge when it's the only port in use. If you charge two devices at once, the port near the edge gives 8W and the middle one 27W. 8W is good enough for peripherals like watches or headphones. It charged my sony wireless headphones with no issues. Overall a great compact charger for high speed charger at home or on the go. Using 35W you can charge a phone or other device quickly and get back to using it. Or, charge main and less demanding device at the same time. Either way, the charger will meet your needs.

This Insignia USB-C charger is a nice compact charger for your mobile devices and even some low powered laptops. Since this is a 35 watt charger, it is more than enough to support quick charging on an iphone 13 and even the ipad. Most mobile devices will quick charge at around 30 watts, so this 35 watt charger is a good sweet spot. Since this charger has two usb-c ports, it is able to charge two devices. However, expect the wattage to be halved for both ports once two devices are connected. Using the meter, on the iphone it was shown that half the amps were used when two devices were charging. So while it can support two devices, you would have to go for a higher wattage charger if you expect quick charge for more than one device. The design of the charger is simplistic and well thought out. The outlet prongs can fold up for carrying and small enough to fit in basically any pocket. There’s also a solid click when the prongs are expanded and stays solidly in place. If you're looking for something portable and works, then this is a great choice to go with.

More and more of my devices are now USB C and I needed a dual charger port so I could charge multiple devices at one time. I have come to the conclusion that Insignia has become my GO TO brand for chargers. This thing is fantastic. It does exactly what you want it to do and in a small compact package so it does not block other outlets. Being able to plug two cables into one charger is such a game changer for me. I only need to carry one charging block with me when I travel now. I can charge my mobile phone and smart watch at the same time with one charging block. OH YEAH! 35W is plenty to charge both items in a short period of time too. Heck I can even charge my chromebook from this thing. The space saving design has the prongs fold up when not in use. This is great so they are not sticking out and will avoid being damaged when traveling or just in my backpack to and from work each day.
