Great Easy To Use Air Purifier

I can't say a whole lot about an air purifier other than it works great. It's very quiet and really cleans the air. I just put it into auto and let it run. It automatically adjusts to the quality of the air at any given time. It's quiet and barely noticeable when running at low speed. It has a sleep mode making it even quieter when you are trying to sleep. There is nothing overly complicated about the purifier. It has a pre-filter that removes large irritants such as hair and dander. The carbon filter removes odors from the air and the HEPA filter captures 99.7% of particle pollution. It will cover an area of up to 380 square feet and is suitable for most medium-sized rooms. The filter is a little under 20 inches tall and has a diameter of about 10.5 inches. It has buttons to lock the controls, set a run timer, turn it off and on, adjusts the fan to 3 different speeds, and to start running in automatic mode. On the face of the purifier, there are colored lights indicating air quality as well as a 3 digit display that shows detailed air quality numbers and filter replacement. I can't say much more. In my case, it is set it and forget it. It's a nice unit and I can highly recommend it.

    Scrubs the air

I'm a big fan of air purifiers. I have a dust mite allergy that causes me to break out in blisters. It works with both inhalation and contact. Since running purifiers I've had a huge decrease in break outs. The Insigia 380 sq ft can cover a lot of area. Although it's rated for 380 it can still do bigger rooms but the exchange rate will slow down. I have mine in a 430sq ft room and it's been yanking all the junk from the air without breaking a sweat. The Insigna pulls air from the front and back into a cylindrical filter. I'd have preferred that the purifier had intakes on the sides also, but it works fine as is. There are three speeds and auto sensing function. I rarely use auto because I don't like to be surprised with a ramp up. I usually keep it on the lower speeds since they're pretty quiet and only ramp the full speed when I need a quick cleansing. So far it's handling the workload as well as I hoped. I'll grab a spare filter soon just to have one on hand when it's time.

Fantastic air purifier for studio salon space

I am a hairstylist and own a small studio salon. My building has HEPA filters, but it doesn't always help in my studio especially when I am spraying product on my client's hair, or blowdrying existing product on the hair. I knew the airborne particles from the products were causing chest tightness for me, so I decided to try this small purifier. It is nothing short of AMAZING! This little thing will clear out hairspray in less than a couple minutes. It isn't too loud, and I have noticed a significant difference in my energy throughout the day because my air is cleaner in my working space. I love that it is cost effective and has a HEPA filter, versus ozone technology. I didn't realize how horrible the air quality in my studio was until this purchase. I cannot recommend it enough! Plus, it is incredibly easy to use -- no gimmicks.

First off, I really appreciate the simple design of the air purifier. You have a led screen that gives you data on air quality I keep this one in my basement in my makeshift gym. There isn't a readily available window nearby so it actually works well in improving the sometime stagnant air during a workout. It's not the quietest air purifier, but when I have my headphones on during my workouts, I can't even tell. You have buttons on the top of the housing of the led screen. You can change fan speed, etc... I keep it on auto, and it also improves the overall air quality of the basement. The filter is easy to locate and change when it comes time to replace it. All in all a great little air purifier from Insignia.

I’ve had this air purifier for a few years now. Works pretty well and I love that. It has an auto feature. The only downside is the filters are kind of expensive.

I really like this air purifier than other brands I have been using. Less noisy. Enough space to be covered by this purifier. But still, it's not enough (none probably) to get rid of cooking smell, especially Indian cooking.

I love it!!! It does the job beautifully, and is very quiet on the low setting. I have it in my small den with two cockatiels and it’s perfect. Cleans the air, and the room always smells fresh. I highly recommend this air purifier.

The Insignia is definitely sensitive to changes in our home air quality, especially when we are cooking - but it certainly does not filter out cooking smell as one reviewer said. When we first plugged it in, it detected a lot of particles nad even went into the red zone! now that we have been running it for a few weeks, it typicaly stays in the green zone - and that is with two large dogs living in our house :)

    Great Air Purifier

The Insignia Air Purifier is a good unit. Setup was simple and straightforward. The user manual was easy to understand and well put together. The unit is quieter than other Air Purifiers I own. The fan has a higher pitched sound, compared to a lower pitched sound that’s on my other air purifiers. I wish the fan noise was a lower frequency. It was a bit annoying at first, but I eventually got used to it. The LED display shows the air quality and is easy to read. The cover for the HEPA filter is very easy to take off and put back on. It has a magnetic connection. Simply pull it off, and let it magnetically connect. Much easier than other units that have plastic locking tabs. Overall, it’s a good air purifier.

This guy works like a champ to clean the air and has just the amount of white noise that I like to muffle the street noise outside my home. I am very happy with it.
