I purchased this Insignia 375 sq foot rated air purifier and put it in our living room. I really think this has cut down on the amount of dust in our indoor air. The auto mode works pretty well. Most of the time it indicates clean air and stays on auto low speed one. When we cook sausages in the skillet the air quality rating on the display changes from green, clean air, to yellow, then to red. The fan ramps up to full speed setting 3 and it quickly starts cleaning the smell from the air and as it purifies the air it changes from speed 3, then speed 2 and, back to low speed 1. Display indicates green (clean air) again. I moved this down to the basement a few days ago and am hoping this will also help remove some of the musty smell from the air since this has a carbon filter to remove odors.

Had been looking for an air filter that would also remove dust from our bedroom, that seems to receive the most dust of any room in our home. Our bedroom is about 275 sq. ft. so this product is more than sufficient, and the control panel is very easy to use. It is very quiet unless you use the higher fan speeds, and it even has a nighttime setting. We have had the air filter for a month and there is definitely a noticeable difference in the bedroom. The Insignia filter was on sale for Black Friday at a great price.

I like this product because it has a night feature for quietness during the night time hours...as you can really hear it cleaning the air on daytime level 3. I feel it does a great job getting rid of everyday pollutants and even has a countdown which works by counting down...red..yellow and green screen shows just how much of a good thing or bad thing you have in the air. My family liked this so much i purchased 2.

This machine runs very quiet when it’s on a stand by mode. But if it’s set up as auto AND if you’re like me living in a small apartment and decided to cook a steak on a stove and produce a lot of smoke, this wonderful little machine will kick itself up and started to blow the fan through the filter at a higher level and will slow down after the smokes disapated. One of the best feature of this machine is it has a PM2.5 calculation display. Don’t know how accurate it is but I love seeing it shows at .005 in our place.

I am very pleased with this Air Purifier. It is Very quiet on the first setting which is where I generally have it. When we have visitors, I turn it up to the 2nd setting and it is noticeable (sounds like when the heat is on in the house). It seems to do a very good job and the display is easy to read!
