This TV is a great addition to my room. The smart tv is easy enough to use. I find that some apps are not as compatible with this tv and load times are slow after owning it for two years. I also wish Fire tvs still worked with apple screen mirroring. Decent tv for the price!

Insignia has been a great quality brand for me. I have several fire tv's including this one I bought for mom. I encouraged her to switch from her roku because she liked the idea of having the guide on screen for the antenna channels. Unfortunately, amazon decided to change their menu format shortly afterwards. I don't like it nearly as well as the old menu. And it is confusing to mom. She hates it and finds it much more difficult to navigate. I agree. You have to dig through so much stuff to find want. Not a good change. In addition lately the screen will just go black and not respond. For instance you choose the channel guide and click on a selection like normal that is currenly on, the guide will disappear as usual but instead of bringing up the channel the screen is just black. And you can't get it to work no matter what you choose. I have restarted the tv through the software menu, unplugged the tv, checked the modem, etc. Sometimes it will fix it. Then next time you use it will randomly do the same thing. Very frustrating and too late to return. It's disappointing because I've had two other tv's just like it only different sizes, and also the fire sticks and they've always worked great. I don't know if the quality has declined or I just got a lemon.

After realizing my 10 year old tv would not work with my newly purchased sound bar (ugh!!) I needed a similar sized TV that would have the capability to work with my sound bar. Although it took many STRONG words and a call to customer service, I finally was able to hook up my new sound system and WOW, the picture and sound are amazing.

We needed a set for a small spare room we sometimes use for guests. We mounted on the wall. Easy setup, beutiful bright screen. Especially nice is the builtin Amazon Firestick. We already had that on our primary TV, so once you activate on the Insignia set, all of your settings will transfer - very convenient. A great choice to add a nice TV to your house!
