The wash cycles are very long. Washing a blanket is 88 mins. Washing a regular load small or large is 64mins I honestly find that kind of outrageous. I actually noticed the increase in my water bill...since this is the only new product I have to attribute it to the long wash times and extra water. It makes a lot of noise as well...a hard knocking sound during the wash and spin. I read other reviews to make sure this is normal and I guess it is normal for this washer. I don't like it though. I had a GE for years and knowing that I will more than likely have to make due with this one for at least five years I do feel a bit regretful.

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in January, everything on it broke in May, Geek Squad didn’t show up until June and they’ve been out 11 times now and still haven’t fixed anything on it. A load takes anywhere between 3-5 hours to complete no matter the size. It keeps trying to overflow the tub. You have to babysit it and it ruins your clothes. Geek Squad guy replaced everything on it twice, and Best Buy the company, and the genius store manager (West Ashley, Charleston location) still haven’t just replaced the thing. Now a lifelong customer is actively rooting for them to go out of business. Run to Home Depot, Lowes, anywhere else to get a washing machine. Even those sketchy cheap ones on Amazon have to do better than this. Complete incompetence from corporate fools.

Already it refuses to spin my clothes. I've troubleshooted and everything recommended. $600 to wash clothes for a little over a year is insane. I will not purchase another Insignia product again. Contacted Insignia directly and they can't help me but didn't mind taking $600 to use a product for a little over a year when in reality, washing machines are supposed to last a lot longer than a year's time I would say. Research your products and company before you purchase their products. Lesson learned.

When it jams, I untangle the laundry it restarts the cycle all over again instead of just picking up where it left off on the spin cycle, it adds water all over again and washes again, and the digital buttons don’t allow you to only start a spin cycle, it takes forever, much longer than needed. Better off with the cheaper basic washer.
