Poor Product and Worse Service

Did 1 load of laundry and kept getting an E5 for out of balance. The unit is balanced. Restarted the washer and it over flowed and would not drain. Called support to schedule a repair. No one ever showed up. Called the store, on hold for 45 minutes until I hung up. Tried the on line chat, again, no response!!

I wish i could return it but of course i bought on oct. 13th and the return window was gone by oct. 30th. I got this and the dryer as i need something cheap and quick. Wich would have been fine if it worked. 10 times out of 10 i get an E1 code right at the begining of the wash cycle. I have been trying to wash the same load of clothes for the passed 24 hours. It just does not work. I am extremely upset i waisted my money on this trash and of course it started failing right after return window closed.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally picked this washer but when I went to pick it up they had the whirlpools on sale so I got the 4.3 cabrio instead. Because of the cabrio being too loud I decided to give this one a try. The noise is better (quieter than the cabrio) just gets loud during the spin but the spin is very hard and I doubt anyone will have an issue with clothes still being wet. The washer was reading that it was level so I didn't adjust it but during the spin it started rocking back and forth so I adjusted the front leg so it didn't have no wobble at all because even the very slightest can make it rock. I am unsure of it being high efficiency. My old HE only filled with enough water to cover the clothes. This one fills pretty high, all the way to the top. This washer does have a aggitator though so maybe that's the difference of why it has to fill all the way with water? Skeptical of the aggitator being too rough on my clothes and also fearing my next water bill. Other than that it looks great and is pretty spacey. The glass top is nice because you can see what's happening with your clothes. The spin cycle seems long but like I said it does spin hard and I think it does an over the top job. Oh and also the drain pipe is to the lower left side of the washer (if you are standing in front of it) which made it kind of inconvenient since my output is to the upper right of the wall. Overall seems like a decent washer, I'm just not liking the high capacity of water. And that I would have to go through best buy to get a matching dryer if I ever wanted one since they are the only ones to sell insignia brand.

Then on return call the installer said they had done several and they where junk washers. Went over a week with no washer due to this. Never will buy appliances from Best Buy again.

Watched a YouTube video of a certified repair technician calling this unit a terrible purchase due to poor part availability and difficultly troubleshooting due to the way it was wired. Luckily it broke under warranty and Best Buy have me a credit to purchase a higher quality unit. It was really painful as there seems to be a serious disconnect from their customer base but I ultimately got what I needed even though I ended up spending another 300 dollars to avoid buying another boat anchor.

Very Loud

Although it seems to wash clothes well. It can not handle a heavy load with out going into an error. Then you have to pull out some of the clothes or realign how they are in the machine for it to run. It is extremely loud when spinning and rinsing. Not happy with it. I would return it if i could. Sometimes it's so loud when spinning i have to close the laundry room door to be able to hear the tv. Really not a lie. It's that loud.
