What is this noise??

So-so

The water level defaults to medium even when I set it for heavy. I always come back to check on it to see if it filled properly, yet I always have to shut it off and restart to get the water level up. Maybe its just me and I need to sit down and study the manual, though I have never had to do that with a washer. It washes well and looks good. It is also REALLY loud when it is kicking back and forth between functions.

Not a very good purchase so far

It balances the load prior to water pouring in. But with each balance, we have to pause the machine and balance by hand, otherwise the load is unbalanced. So this feature is a crock! Also, at times it will wash a load for over 2 hours. We have had to stop it and spin and drain twice now.. Going to call today, we are not happy

Insufficient water level

If you want to just put the clothes in and take them out clean, consider choosing another type of washing machine.

Constantly Stops

At first, I assumed I put in too many clothes. Then I thought, maybe the things I put in are too heavy. So I put my 2 year old t-shirts in there to wash and I experienced the same problem. At this point, I assumed, maybe I installed it incorrectly - so I hired somebody to come to my house to check it out (being how Best Buy wasn't offering installation and set-up due to the Coronavirus), and it still does the same thing. I've had it less than a month and it works way worst than the old beat down one I just threw out. Only good thing is that I purchased the geek squad protection.

DO NOT BUY INSIGNIA WASHER

It agitated slowly on arrival and started throwing error codes within a week. I checked hose to see if it was clogged checked filters no sign of clog(water spilled everywhere flooded my laundry room). Best Buy's support redirected me to Whirlpool, which was a dead end(Its an Insignia Washer). Im a Total Tech member thinking I would get this resolved no problem but overall, it's been a frustrating experience, and I wouldn't recommend this washer to anyone. (This is my second washer I purchased from Best Buy within a 3 years I had a Samsung Washer prior worked great till the weight kept breaking off)

Worst Purchase I've ever made!

I didn't need a fancy one, so I thought this one should be fine. I paid for installation because I didn't want to hook it up wrong. HA! Best Buy installed it, days later I was washing my clothes and I turned around a water was everywhere! I cleaned it up and saw there was so much damage to my floors (I'm in a townhouse and it's upstairs on the top level). I called Best Buy and they offer to come fix it but not to help repair or help pay for the damage. All said and done, $1400 of damage to my floors, lighting, ceiling, rugs, and more. The cause of all the damage? The installers did not attach the the drain hose securely and left the drain hose hanging loosely. The vibration knocked it out and water went everywhere. Four months later, I'm doing laundry, it got to the rinse cycle and I hear a loud buzzing noise. I spent an hour on the phone and chat just to try and find someone to help me. First they wanted to charge me $199 for a protection plan and $49 for service. It's still under warranty! Honestly, I wasn't going to leave a review but I've gotten such bad service on top of a faulty product. I'm so disappointed in Best Buy. This review is more about their installation than the product. But come on, four months and it breaks? Stay clear of this one.

Junk out of the box

Before December of 2020 we had a problem with the unit. We contacted Best Buy and told them of the problem and we were instructed to return the washer (at our cost) then they would "look into" the issue with the washer. Why? Why should I go out of my way when a technician could come take a look? We bought the washer because we needed one, not for the fun of it. Fast forward to June of 2022 and the washer has completely stopped functioning. Really???!!! I have to buy new equipment every couple of years. Great job Best Buy.
