It doesnt matter how you load, how much you load, OR WHAT YOU LOAD, It stips mid cycle and gives an error1 code. Every. Single. Time. Then you go back, add more detergent & softener, start over. Wash again. 15 min and guess what?! Same thing!! Weve had this probably 8 mos- i swear when we can afford a new one, im going to throw this off of a mountain and hope it feels my pain.

Error Code E4 after 3 and a half years

Bought it in September of 2020. E4 error code has to do with contents not being distribted evenly in the barrel. Well, they are. The loads I’m putting in are medium sized and distribted evenly. I recommend paying the extra $100-$200 to get a name brand washer that will last longer.

It's completely unacceptable that it stopped working so soon after you started using it, especially for something purchased in March 2024 and failing by May 2025. A lifespan of less than a year for a key appliance is definitely not what we aim for, and I understand why you feel it's an "absolute piece of junk" and would advise others to save their money.

It's really complex I dont understand how it washes right. As i write I'm waiting for the next load , the lowest time seems to be 43 minutes! On quick wash.. .I really love my dryer which is insignia as well but this washer I'll have to wait another 45 min . Well I'm glad I got the 3 year warranty.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the insignia brand washer/set and overall it’s just not a good brand to have. The washer sensor doesn’t correspond with the specific cycle that the washer supposed to be on and I always get an e4 error message and I’ve had this set 3 1/2 years purchased brand new, it came with a one year warranty. Also, I will unplug the washer for a couple of weeks to try to do a reset just to see if it’ll work and sometimes it’ll run a full wash with no issues but trust me, you won’t get over 1-2 full washes and it’ll start back not working and when the washer is on spin/drain, it’ll start back refilling again as if I’ve set it to wash again and the timer jumps from 10 back to 39 mins. The dryer on the other hand doesn’t get as hot as it should, we literally have to run the dryer at least 4 times to get the clothes dry after each 60 min drying cycle with everything turned up to very dry/high. I’m going back to the old school brands for my next purchase, which will either be a Whirlpool, Amana, Maytag or GE… y’all can have this digital high efficiency stuff lol

Machine broke down after 3 1/2 years!

There was an issue with the bearing in the drum that inhibited the spin cycle and agitation. Machine was heavily used and worked great however I thought it would last a little longer than 3 1/2 years!
