Does everything i need it to. Towels, blankets and clothing

once u set it u cant change it, clothes get stuck in the agitator really bad, machine is very loud and goes crazy, error codes pop up a lot can’t even get through a load of clothes takes a few hours because u have to keep babysitting the machine, clothes come out soak and wet at the end of the cycle,when u try to drain the clothes the machine just runs more and more water and never drains the water all out. I’m sending it back it was too frustrating I never buy this brand again.. please do not buy this u won’t like it!!!!!

I own an Insignia washer/dryer set. I bought them based on the very good reviews on this website. If I would have known then, what I know now, I would not have purchased the Insignia brand. When I had first issues with the washing machine (within the first year of owning), I had a local repair company come out to service the machine. The worker mentioned that Insignia is not a well known brand and he had never seen one before. Therefore he had trouble figuring out how to order the parts it needed for repair. The next time the washer had trouble (just two years old), I decided to call Geek Squad thinking that they would know more about fixing machines that Best Buy sells. They were knowledgeable and said the motor went bad...after just two years. It would be less than $100 for a new motor, but the labor would cost $300! I have learned not to buy off brand items again so that in the future I can use a local company to repair my machine for a much cheaper cost. I am now buying a new washing machine since the repair cost of this 2 year old machine is almost the cost of a new washer.

I use it daily and it does a great job getting clothes clean

It was delivered a couple of days ago and today when I washed my first load, I got an error code. It wasn’t filling up properly and the solution per the manual was to ‘call a repairman’. I turned it off and tried again. Same problem. So then I tried to drain and spin so I can get my clothes out. It drained but wouldn’t spin. Pure junk. They are picking it up Tuesday.

Purchased end of Nov 2019..yesterday it quit on me. Because I didn't purchase an extended warranty, I have to pay a service charge to have it looked at. Not the first Insignia product I have had issues with... purchased a 55" TV that died within a year. Lucky me...I also purchased a insignia matching dryer 3 weeks ago and a freezer about 3 months ago..so I'm sure it just a matter of time before those die on me. Why didn't I purchase the warranty? Didn't realize it's a bad product and would quit in little over a year. Won't buy Insignia again..and through the experience I think I'm done with Best Buy as well.

This washer worked fine for about 10 months Then stopped working. It was way more difficult than necessary to get a repair appointment under warranty. The appt. I was finally given was 8am-5pm 4 days out... Ugh! So I stayed home all day and the company did not show up or even call. After some prodding I was able to get the name of the contractor Geek Squad subcontracted for this job- 1 star out of 5. NO current business license. And obviously no courtesy whatsoever. It's not a good washer.

I love my new washer!! It's quiet and the tub is super huge

This is the worst washer anymore can buy. Its cheap for a reason. Everytime it gets to rinse and spin, it bangs on the sides and restart the process. Wasting my water and taking almost near 2hrs to finish the laundry. If anyone of these sales people try to sell you this item leave the store and go elsewhere. Brandsmart has better options

Buyer beware. This thing is the biggest piece of crap. No matter what size load it’s off balance and then you endlessly fight with it trying to finish the spin cycle.

In order to Reset your wash preference or water temperature, you have to power the washer off. It Washes okay and it has a slow wishy wash. Other than those Issues, the Washer gets the job done. The size is great and fits a Blanket.

Regretful purchase. Had washer replaced December 2023 under warranty & not even a full year later it’s no longer working due to the same issue. Because it has already been replaced, warranty no longer applies. You get what you pay for.

If I could rate this a zero I would! I have had this washing machine for JUST over a year October 2 2021 we purchased it. It has ALWAYS been extremely loud which we just got used to it today which is October 23 and the agitator came loose and fell off and now will no longer agitate. I called for support and they won’t do a thing because my manufacturer warranty was up as of 21 days ago so this is absolutely terrible service will NEVER buy this brand again

Don't buy this! I bought this about 3 months ago. It broke after 34 days of purchase. The agitator broke. Repair guy came over and thought he fixed it. Was back out the following week. Ordered the part. 2 wks later he calls and says the part is no longer available. Repair guy says these are made cheap and is garbage. He's been fixing a ton of them lately. Good thing about this whole ordeal? They'll give me a credit on the funds I paid for the thing towards a new one! A different brand! Woohoo!

This washer is an absolute nightmare, it’s supposed to be eco friendly have all these great bells and whistles to make it so easy and reliable to wash you’re clothes. It’s a joke, anytime you wash something that gets heavy when wet the washer repeatedly runs the rinse cycle just adding more water and weight to the laundry. It’s very easy for a standard size load to make it go off balance and be very noisy...highly disappointed with this purchase

I ran a wash and there was a pin-sized hole in the drain pipe (which is very thin and flimsy). Luckily I was home and could take care of the flooded basement when water was shooting around my basement due to the cheap drain hose. Seems to be working OK cleaning and the glass look in at the top is nice, but it takes a long time to get to spin and drain (and you can't just turn on Spin or drain). So you have to wait almost an hour to test to see if you're drain is working correctly. Not cool.
