Unfortunately, I thought the problem was the size of my load and by the time I found out it was going to happen about once every 3 months it was out of warranty.

On March 8, 2019, the washer is having a problem with the inlet valves not closing so water just continues to trickle into the tub. Thankfully it does seem to have an overflow protection that saved the basement from flooding. 2 months beyond the manufacturers warranty...and it breaks. Our last washer (albeit a much more basic unit than this) lasted at least a decade with no problems. Disappointed to say the least.

Don’t waste your money.

Best Buy would not service this product without 1) a Geek Squad Diagnostic fee and 2) a repair fee after the diagnosis I spent 75 minutes on chat with customer service and that proved to be a waste of time. Best Buy sells products that malfunction and charge you more to repair the issues. They do not seem to assume responsibility nor care about Customer service and satisfaction. Sincerely disappointed with the product and customer service/lack of care.

It’s not even a year old yet and still under manufacture warranty. The repair team tells me they keep asking insignia for a new one, as this unit has broken 7 times, with countless parts being replaced, but insignia keeps denying claim. I’m literally pulling the hair out of my head. I am at the point where I’m going to go to another store and buy another dryer. I don’t think I will be buying anything from best but ever again

They brought out another one, 2 days later would not spin. Changed to Maytag( had previously for years) I would not reccomend Insignia at all!

Washes fine, but when it comes to draining and spin cycle, it codes out and leaves a full drum of soapy water you have to manually drain out

First the fabric softener feature broke- it stopped emptying despite thoroughly cleaning. Next it’s had the ongoing issue of not draining fully and also overflowing, leaking tons of water into our house. Today the spin feature broke down so all our clothes are still soaked, and it won’t work on any other cycle settings. We’re done throwing money into it. It’s not worth it.

Do not waste your money!

Machine started to act up after about 2 years and completely stopped spinning and draining now at just over 3 years old. When I spoke to customer service they informed me that they only stand behind their products for 1 year. Such a horrible company and product. Do not waste your money, spend a little more and get an American manufactured machine with a dependable company that stands behind the quality of their product.

I have pants currently stuck under the agitator. But I'm too late for coverage. What an absolute piece of junk.
