Great product, just can’t plug an external HD into it

My husband has an external hard drive so he wasn't able to have that plugged in at the same time since the hard drive has to plug directly into the system. Otherwise it would've been great for him to use to plug all his other stuff in.

Easy and convenient to use a must have for gaming.

It was cool, but it didn't work with my playstation.

Bought this to add more USB ports but didn't realize that this only works with PS4 Pro and Slim not the original PS4. Make sure you pay close attention.

Fits good on the PS4 Pro but I ended up returning it because it randomly disconnects from time to time. Think of any game like Elite Dangerous or Squadrons, the Dongle from the PS Gold Headset and the HOTAS 4 are both plugged on this HUB, then suddenly chat is gone and lose control of your ship. It takes 5-10 seconds to reconnect. Seems like this issue is common on these units, avoid it unless you only want it to charge things. I ended up returning it.

This device does the trick. It inserts into the existing 2 USB ports and expands it to 4. It covers the disc eject button, but the device has a button in the middle of the ports that replaces the covered button. Great tool for adding more ports.

I only gave this 3 stars because it don’t work with my extended hard drive. The hd have to be plug directly to my ps4. Which means I can’t use it. And that sucks.

I have a PS4 Pro, so I have an external hard drive in the rear USB port, so for my controller charging cables, PSVR USB cable, Gold Wireless Headset and the chance I'm playing Rock Band/Guitar Hero Live, this little device REALLY comes in handy...

it works, but not good for using external hard drives and also doesnt charge controllers very quickly. also blocks disk drive on my console.

Pay attention to the description, I had the base PS4 and it didn't fit but later purchased a pro. It's a great addition I usually have all the ports tied up so it's beneficial for those using a vr or other products that require the USB

This was a great idea. However it blocks the disc drive, so you have to take it off to put new games in. Also it can’t be used with an external hard drive.

Does what is supposed to do. It is meant specifically for the PS4 and is not good for expanding ports onto a pc or laptop. It uses up both front USB ports on the ps4 but you still have the back usb for expanding hard drive capacity on the ps4 pro

I bought this hub so I could charge my headset and controllers together while still having my Bluetooth adapters also plugged it. While this serves that purpose, the extra heft literally blocks the disk eject button on my PS4 Pro! I have to go to the game in the menu to force the system to eject my disc. It’s really unfortunate design but it’s a sacrifice for the usb hubs I need. If you’re mostly digital with your games, it shouldn’t be as much of an issue for you.

It’s a great add on but needs both USB ports and if you need external storage it’s really not even worth getting bc it doesn’t fit great on the ps4 with just one slot

Didn’t know this product existed and was always wishing I had more slots so I wouldn’t have to switch things around when I played different games or needed to charge a controller so this is perfect

Got this use with a Brook Xbox 1 to PS4 controller adapter, if you like the Xbox control over PS4 controller you will need the adapter for the Brook adapter to work do to its size it won't fit into the slim recessed USB slot on the PS4.

I thought this hub would be more useful, however it blocks the disk tray and does not work with an external hard drive

I'm not sure what you'd use this for since the PS4 requires external hard drives be plugged directly into the console. Maybe other peripherals can use it, like VR.

If you just need the extra ports for your ps4 this is a good product but If you play competitive fighting game online, it' s not good because of the input lag.
