Then when you do configure it to use both of the ps4’s factory ports it blocks the disc drive.

Works, but Faulty design!

How this passed quality control is beyond me, works as specified-expands your USB ports from 2 to 4 ports. My issue is that it covers the loading tray to do so, and it's even in the instructions like this... What! So, what happens when your disks accidentally open and this thing is on..seems like a recipe for disaster. If your keeping this, get ready to place, remove, place, remove, place, remove, place, see the problem yet, very annoying... And very stupid..

It works

I had planned on adding an external drive with this hub but the PS4 requires that the external drive be plugged directly into the device and not through a hub. I was able to work around this by removing one of the modular USB jacks from the back of the hub and shifting it to the left.

But unfortunately, it wouldn't make a proper connection and wouldn't power on to supply USB ports. Hopefully, my brother has better results with his PS4 Slim.

Do not buy if you have a regular ps4

Good but needs improvement

But this doesn't seem to work while the ps4 in rest mode.
