My hard drive wouldn’t work plugged in to this device and I can only get it to fit while covering up the cd drive.

The adapter fits PS4 slim correctly. But it neither charges the controller nor recognizes flash drive. Even external drives wont be recognized by this adapter. Hence returned it. Thanks

DOES NOT WORK FOR EXT HARD DRIVE

Currently have a bluetooth headset and external hard drive plugged into the system. Like to have an extra bluetooth for charging controllers or phone or whatever else I want to charge. When I plugged in the external hard drive it could not be recognized. Do not buy if you are looking ot use it for this purpose.

I understand that this product did not fulfilled your expectations. As you might know USB 3.0 ports output 5 Volts at 0.9 Amps. If you unplugged the headset usb receiver from it and plugged back in, would work ok until you turned off the ps4. Not every time, but enough I quit using it. If you are using for something other than a headset, might work better. Will not work with an external HDD.
