I tried it with my PlayStation Platinum Headset, but they do not stay connected to the system when plugged into this USB hub. Even the headset’s USB dongle will stay lit up, but I don’t hear any sound through the headset or have any use of the mic. I don’t really know how it works with anything else such as recharging accessories, storage devices, and so on. I guess the 3 USB ports that the PS4 Pro comes with will have to do, but this USB hub is not good.

Not very effective

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to expand my usb ports to allow my external hard drive to access and connect my 2 controllers...once I open the box there is a cardboard strip around it stating to that hard drives are not compatible and could corrupt data..if this didn't connect/cover both usbs then that would not been a problem...no mention on BestBuy.com...or on the box...returned and ordered a different usb hub... Very disappointed Best Buy...Insignia is a house brand...
