We understand how important it is for you to view your external hard drive, however this device may not be the correct one for you. It is stated on our website as well as Best Buy's website that this is a 4 Port USB Hub for PS4/PS4 Pro's so although it may not work to view the hard drive of your PC, it will work for the purpose of expanding the connectivity of PlayStation consoles listed. If you are looking for a device to view your PC external hard drive, I would advise looking for the model: NS-PCHDEDS19.
This docking station will allow you to connect and store external hard drives on your desktop as well as view files from your hard drives. I hope this information helps you out. If you have any doubts, feel free to contact my team at any time!
