this stopped working after 11 days of barely working

This thing isnt very user friendly. It blocks the disc opening.

Doesn't allow you to eject a disk without dismounting the port.

I use this product with my ps4 pro and my gold heat phones keep cutting out. After I took this adapter off they work fine

Please Read before buying, this did not work with my set-up. PS4 Slim My set-up includes,PSVR, External Hard drive, Sony platinum Headset, Thrustmaster Racing Wheel, Controller charging/sync cable. The only reason that this usb hub did not work is because the external hard drive has to be directly connected to the ps4 in order for it to work. Maybe not a big deal to some but ive learned from experience, that the 1TB goes quick. Hopefully this helps some one in my similar situation.

I wish I would have gotten it at the current price. Under $10 would have actually been the perfect price point given the harassment and discrimination I had to endure to buy it. At least in the future I’ll be prepared for it I guess, Gotta love being disabled in a world where businesses swear up and down publicly that they accept cash, yet in one way or another makes me jump through hoops cause I’m disabled just to spend it at their store. And as I’m sure many of you may be wondering about the why I chose to post it on a product review. Well I tried the contact section and even their crappy help but no where wanted to let me send a message so figure it’s high time I get around to reviewing the products I’ve purchased here. Seems that’s the only thing they care about. The product, aside from my missing it doesn’t quite fit the original ps4 correctly ant the other aforementioned issues has worked great.

I bought this to expand the two USB ports on my PS4 Pro and it works perfectly. For those having 'issues' with hard drives, just plug your hard drive into the USB port on the back of your PS4 Pro (you're going to just plug it in once and forget about it anyway so it might as well be the back one) and then you'll have 4 USB ports on the front to utilize. It's so obvious and easy I can't believe that people technical enough to install an external HD can't come up with that solution. Ignorant haters gonna hate I guess....

Works great if you aren't using an external Hard Drive. Seems like nearly all other devices work fine with this USB extender with the exception of External Hard Drives which was the main reason i purchased this.

The purpose of this purchase was to be able to expand the slims Limited USB ports. It stated that it is compatible however it cannot be used with an external drive which if you own a ps4 you need it if you plan on having any library of downloaded games. So basically if you need your drive there is no way to expand your usb. So this item is useless. Your better off buying a 4 hub usb3 and using one of the USB ports for added things like headphones or cameras. Even then it’s a crap shoot. I don’t know why they thought less usb was better but they were severely wrong.

I have a PS 4 slim VR connected to a stand (cooling and charging station). One USB port is needed for the VR camera and the other for the charging/cooling station. I purchased this hub to add an external storage drive. But the system requires the drive be plug directly into the unit.

All the USB ports colored blue which is the color for USB 3.0. However, from the back you can see the removable USB connector has only 5 connection pins. USB 3.0 has 9 pins (4 for 1.0/2.0 compatible and 5 new pins). So, the port is NOT connecting using USB 3.0 with PS4 and it's deceiving to use blue color in the connector. I don't know if the other non-removable connector is connecting to PS/4 with USB 3.0 or not and if any of the 4 ports in front is USB 3.0.

So first of all I own a first gen ps4, and saw it only works for ps4 pro or slim. But other than that doesn’t really give much information on what “model” of ps4 it works for. So I bought it to give it a shot, it being an older ps4 the internal memory storage is limited. So I got this to extend the two USB ports for my external HDD 2TB, my Turtle Beach headset, and to charge my controllers or headset need be. This thing takes up BOTH USB ports and it says you can not hook up a HDD to it at all. Which is dumb IMO, cause really the only thing you can do with this is charge four things at one time or run a headset. Definitely returning this product and buying a USB hub that only takes up one USB port than two and can have my HDD connected if I want to.

This doesn't work with the original ps4. I was disappointed after being advised by the "Sony specialist" store employee it would.
