Excellent unit!

However, the footprint and light weight makes this unit to slide all over the place to find a permanent spot for it. You need to glued it down with Velcro for it to stay put. Other wise it’s great!

Connected it to my ps4 slim and connected my 4tb hard drive to it. Message appeared to plug on to ps4 directly. Games would not load with it connected.

However, given that you can only have one external hard drive hooked up to a PS4, I've found my need for this to be minimal, given controllers are wireless. Good if you have to charge a lot of controllers though.

Product worked great, but was not made for original models. This only fits Pro and Slim models. It will still work on the launch model, but you have to put it in upside down. Main drawback to that is it needs to be unplugged in order to insert or remove a disc.

When I plug the external HDD into the port the PS4 will not read it. Works for everything else.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure why Play Station is so stingy with USB ports when gamers actually NEED them to play the darned games, but this item is a great fix for the problem. It is a 4 port USB hub that fits the machine exactly. It plugs into the two existing USB ports on the front of the PS4 but you end up with 4 usable ports.
