This four-port hub is great if your computer lacks enough USB ports for all your accessories. It gives you three extra USB ports when plugged into one of your computer ports (four minus the computer port needed for the hub.)

Having never had a computer with only one usb port and also being unwilling (yet) to abandon using a mouse, when the salesman told me about splitters I was thrilled. I've been using the Surface to make presentations and need the ability to attach multiple usb devices related to my presentation file and the projector. What a help!

Welp, not much to say other then it does what it's supposed to do. Great little thing to throw in the computer bag, you never know when you'll need an extra port or two.....

I have many devices hooked up to my laptop for several different purpose. This comes in handy to hook up the things I need to transfer some of my old embroidery designs to my computer and then to my sewing machine. I am also able to hook up my portable hard drive if I have designs on that as well.

Works well for my dad's set-up. Now when he takes his laptop on the go, he doesn't need to unplug all of his devices and then remember how to re-plug them all! He just unplugs this device and he's good to go.

I bought this for my wife to use with her Dell Venue 8 tablet and it works well. Right now, she uses it with a wireless mouse and flash drive. We've had no problems as it works well with all of her components and there's no lag in connectivity or data transfer.

Works exactly as stated plug & play with my Mac mini and no noticeable lack of speed works just as well with my HP desktop would recommend over other higher cost name brands

I thought I was getting a 2 way splitter so I was happy to see it's a 4 way. I only used it for the keyboard and mouse, but I could plug something else that uses low bandwidth too.

This worked as expected! I didn't have any issues, and it was just plug and play. I only needed two ports for my mouse and keyboard, but it doesn't hurt to have extra.

When we are away from home in our RV the extra USB ports are needed on the lap top for things such as printer, personal mi-fi, mouse, and projection clock (nighttime).

This USB port hub allows me to use a Logitech Mouse I purchased which needs two ports to operate. I'm happy to have found this product since my computer didn't have enough ports for me to use the mouse.

I love this little device . It is very helpful in making me more efficient at work by having two screens. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be more efficient at work or home.

This works great and is so convenient to use. It doesn't take up a lot of space. It is a perfect size. I have room for 4 USBs. I haven't any problems with any USBs I use in it.

Well designed. Highly portable. USB 2.0 4 port hub. (takes one of your USB ports on your computer and gives you 4 USB 2.0 ports to use...) Requires no power to operate. PRO: .... requires no cumbersome additional AC cable (or USB for that matter since the 4", or so, USB cable is permanently attached, with it's own integrated storage for travel...) CON: ....probably won't have enough power to plug 4 USB 3.0, 2.5 " external HD's and work.... not to mention that you'd also loose the USB 3.0 speeds because this is a 2.0 Hub..... I use this Hub to plug all of my micro-USB receivers (for wireless mice, keyboards, Wacom tablet etc) into. This way i still have 3 USB 3.0 spaces available on my laptop and can use all of my wireless devices without having to pick and choose or constantly switch out every time i change tasks... Works like a charm, so, without hesitation....

Needed this accessory to a new HP Chromebook laptop I bought. Laptop only had one mouse port, needed two. This accessory plugs into the one port, and in turn enables plugging in up to four devices. Works fine.

Excellent product! Ideal for traveling w/ my Surface Pro. This very compact 4 -port UBS Hub has performed.flawlessly. since it was purchased. It has become a permanent addition to my Surface and has been recommended to several friends.

This does exactly what it's supposed to -- connect extra things to the computer. The only thing is that I wish the cord were a little longer. I stuck it on the side of the computer so that it is out of the way but accessible. It barely reached.

My new Dell was extremely limited on USB ports. The expands them perfectly. Alot of the expansion ports do not support charging. This one does.

After using my new HP computer I realized I would need more USB ports than were provided by the manufacturer. They only install two from the factory. The Insignia gives me four additional ports to plug other devices into to expand my work and pleasure.

use of the4 port USB hub on the laptop computer provides for multiple users of smart phones to allow keeping 2 phones always charged and keep printer and wireless mouse ports active.
