Lets put it this way, to transfer a 1 GB file a USB 3.0 will take about 30 seconds and a USB 2.0 will take about 2 minutes. A: I'm going to go with "Not exactly", because all of the ports on this hub are USB-A, and the Pixel 3 port is USB-C. So at the very least you would need an adapter between this hub and your phone, and not all adapters support data throughput (which is called OTG), which is required to use a mic. I don't think Best Buy lets us post outside links in these answers, but you can find good information by Googling "use external microphone with Android phone", and look for a result that specifically mentions USB-C.
