It allows three additional additional USB ports to connect peripherals to the computer. It is small and required no special connections. It has four slots but takes one so that is why the net gain is three. I would have preferred a longer cord so that I could attach it to the top of the laptop rather than letting it hang off the side where it can bang around if not on a table.

Had to start working from home and I needed a USB hub and found this one and it works great, I have a scanner, keyboard, connected to it because all of my hubs were connected to my monitor and other items I was using, but this little hub have done its job without glitches

Exactly what I was looking for and the price was even better. Not bulky not in the way and does what I want it to. The price caught my eye and I had a 5 dollar reward so it made my purchase even easier. Oh the usb fits perfectly and it does wobble when I move my laptop.

I needed a few extra USB 2.0 spots on my computer for a few desk peripherals and this little hub works perfectly. I have it plugged into the back of my computer where it's out of the way and have had no issues with it. Worked upon first use!

This works as I expected. I needed extra USB ports because my mouse and keyboard take up 2 ports leaving me with only 1 port. The cord is really short. Even a slight 1/2 inch longer would be much better.

This 4-port USB hub works perfectly. No troubleshooting needed for multiple items connected. Good price deal

This accessory item was exactly what I needed. I use it daily. I charge my watch. My bluetooth speaker. I even plug in the USB chip that came with my wireless mouse. I am even thinking about purchasing two additional ones to be used with the other laptops in a previous purchase with Best Buy! THINKING! I have to witness the other parties utilizing their laptops as much as I.

I purchased the USB hub to allow me to connect a keyboard and mouse to my OLD PC that was located in my Bridgeport CNC milling machine. Since the PC is a Windows XP machine I cannot safely connect it to my network so I have to upload all files via thumb drive. The USB hub did exactly what it is supposed to do and that is provide extra USB ports. I decided to use a hub vice three or four USB cables since my Keyboard and Mouse are located on a tiny keyboard tray attached under a touch screen monitor and I had already used all available USB ports on the front of the PC. Additionally the USB hub is rugged and light, a requirement, since the location installed is not temperature controlled and full of vibrations from the milling machine. John C.

I bought this hub since I bought a new laptop and my remote controller for my flight simulator program did not function. The remote controller in order to function needed a lower voltage USB port than the port on my new Laptop. This hub was able to to make my remote controller function. My]problem was solved.

Needed a USB hub for my PS4. This was the perfect solution. Doesn't require any additional power, so this thing worked great. Price was pretty good. The only con is the USB dongle cable is short...like 2 inches.

Very convenient to have additional USB ports since laptop only has one USB 2.0, but remember that this a 2.o USB Hub, not 3.0.

Works well for how I'm using it. I like the compact size. Only thing I don't like about it is the connectors are upside down in comparison to pictured device. Indicator light is down on USB hub so indicator light of device that is plugged in can be seen.

I bought a surface pro laptop and have different devices that need to be plugged into the laptop by a USB dongle (wireless mouse, keyboard, charge cable) and this expandable dock does the job with having 4 ports where you can easily connect your devices. It’s sleek and doesn’t take too much space up on your desk and is very portable and easy to take on the go. So far I’m getting good use out of it and having my devices plugged in, everything responds just as it should as if it was plugged straight into the laptop. Anyone who has a newer laptop knows that most of them lack enough ports and usually only contain 1 or 2 so this dock is great for those looking to expand and have the ability to connect multiple devices at once. I haven’t tried plugging in my external hard drive in yet, however for anyone looking for faster load times and speed, insignia has an expandable dock that supports usb 3.0 and has faster load times. As a side note, this particular dock only has usb 2.0 ports and 480 mbps speed. Another thing I like about this dock is that it’s very easy to use right out of the box. I just plugged it in my USB port, my laptop configured it and I was ready to use my wireless mouse and keyboard within seconds of plugging it in!

I bought this in store after telling the associate that I wanted a 4 port hub for an Android tablet and PC actual computers from XP to 10. He picked this one out and it works with everything I have. I can now use a keyboard and wheel mouse with the tablet and have ports to save and move things between the tablet and multiple thumb drives at the same time. I can actually run the tablet better as some things would not open correctly by touch but do work with the mouse. The hub hardly weighs anything and the plug/wire fit into a slot on the back which keeps them out of the way when I carry it around. It does what I wanted and I'm happy.

Small, cheap, and does exactly what it's supposed to. I have a keyboard, mouse, and webcam plugged into it at the same time and all work fine. I've only had it for a few weeks but so far so good.
