With the mouse, printer and smart screen taking the ports, I needed more for the USB drive.

It's great for letting me have several things connected to my SurfacePro, and that makes it easier for me to get all my work done quickly. All in all, I can't complain about anything with it.

The suction cup version travels easier and can be placed anywhere within reach whereas this one must 'dangle' or take up desk space to be usable.
