Convenient for a Mac Mini.

The Insignia Hub allows me to connect four devices into one USB jack on the Mini. Only issue may be that if a device isn't recognized, you may have to move it to different jacks until the computer sees it.

It needs to be plugged in, adding to the plethora of computer items requiring a separate electrical connection. Wire city under my desk. Not a good thing. I bought the hub to connect external hard drives to my computer, which has only two USB ports. One port is required for the wireless mouse. At present the other is used for one of the external hard drives I back my photos up to. As it is now, I have to place one copy on my computer until each hard drive has its copies. If I process photos off one hard drive, I have to save the processed photo to this computer and then, after disconnecting the hard drive I used initially, connect the second hard drive and upload the photos to that drive. I don't use the cloud for this process, because I am often in locations that lack internet connections. It wasn't cheap.
