    I had to upgrade to a powered versoin due to the number of usb disks I added. Solved my issue.

    It's a good, small, effective USB 3.0 hub that is usually in stores, which is a complicated feat these days if you don't live in an area with other big box stores. It's not the cheapest hub around, but it's not priced too badly, and it includes a power source. I use it to power an Oculus Rift and a mouse, and it works great for those purposes.
