    The device is useful for being able to branch out more UBS Ports though it does not amplify the power output so that you can use things that require 2 UBS Ports such as the devices that require extra power to function

    I needed something affordable to hook up my mouse, keyboard to make a small screen. i.e. surface pro, iPad into a big screen on a monitor. This was VERY affordable compared to the other products that can do the same thing.

    It sometimes doesn't always allow me to sync everything since it likes to disconnect itself for some unknown reason. It's okay for moving stuff from smaller flash drives but gets disconnected when I try to move stuff from multiple hard drives.
