It does its job at a reasonable price. No bells n whistles.

As others have complained it has disconnects. The ports are also a tight squeeze to plug some USB devices into. I also found that it does not seem to be 2.0 compatible. It does not recognize a PNY USB 2.0 drive.

It doesn't seem to be able provide power to devices attached to it, even when plugged into the included 5V DC power source transformer. If true then that wasn't communicated clearly when I purchased the unit and is disappointing to me.

This is a perfectly adequate USB hub. I can't really say anything else.

Its ok for what it is. Not recommended for hooking up multiple hard drives.

This hub dos not fit directly to your computers usb3 port. Instead there is a wire that attaches to the computer, and the hub is several inches away. This allows flexibility in where you attach the device to the hub. It makes for less crowding, but you need more real estate on your desktop.

One of your tech people word with to get me what, was needed to do what I needed. What setts you apart is to have real people help the customers. There are only thing in sales, service, quality and price. Service is most important!!!

Compared to a giant, steaming bag of dinosaur doo-doo, this insignificant and near useless USB was only made worse because of its origins. This product was doomed for failure since it is a Best Buy brand *cringe* and I bought it from the pathetic teenage daycare, Best Buy Maryland Parkway. At the Maryland Parkway Best Buy, it you have no ears like, literally, you have no ears hanging off your disgusting head, you will undoubtedly become manager of product returns by the end of your first day.

I was looking for a solution for more usb outlets for my All-in-one PC and this was suggested to me. The problem with this device is that if you use the AC input any auxiliary hard drive plugged in will stay running all the time which will shorten the life of the hard drive. If you only use the PC connection as your power source then the every time your power down your PC, any charging device utilizing the power will no longer be charging.

Bought it for my hard drive that has no power source except for the 3.0 usb cable, which sucks power from the Wii u at a poor rate and gave me nothing but constant loading errors. After buying this my issues are completely gone!

This hub has recognized and functioned perfectly with every USB device I have connected to it. The only thing I think could be improved is that the power plug fits a bit loosely in the socket and becomes disconnected easily.

I'm having bad experiences with Insignia products. I got one of these hubs and it only partially worked. Returned and exchanged it for a 2nd one. It only works for a USB drive on 1 of the 4 connections. I works for a printer on a different one. the other 2 receptacles are not operative. PIECE OF JUNK! Using this on a NEW LG Gram 17 Laptop. Tried the ports on the laptop with direct connection of Printer, and several different drives and the ports on the computer itself functioned properly.

Unit functions fine as long as computer already booted. Prevents computer from being booted if plugged in before start up. That means you have to disconnect and reconnect everything if you turn your computer off or if your computer restarts.
