Was explained to me by the Best Buy rep that it would charge my devices but it did not function in that manner.

Do not waste any money on this hub. The only function that it will reliably perform is as a charger. It will not be recognized by Windows 10 as a USB hub - it is an unknown usb device in Windows Device Manager. I have tried multiple USB ports and cables, but nothing will work.

Cute little box. N There is never a problem with attacb hing a mouse but forget about other usb devices

I tried to use this however it did not power my devices. I needed to return this item.

Plugged in, it still won't charge and has trouble synching iPhones and IPads.

Since the ps4 only has 2 usb ports, i need it a usb hub ,so i bought this and it works amazing, i have plugged in the PSVR , a USB dongle for wireless headphones and a Steering wheel and all works perfectly. The size is very good because its very small. This is a must have for ps4 owners who have various accesories, etc.

I bought the Insignia 4 port USB 3.0 hub after reading a lot of favorable reviews, but had to return it. Only one port worked. I exchanged it for a J5 Create 7 port hub.

I returned it for the above reason. If the devices you plug into it have a low power requirement, this unit is OK, otherwise it could put too high a power demand on your computer.

This product did not meet exceptions. It send some voltage through and has fried a few including a laptop computer. Definitely not worth the money.

I bought 3. Product looked flimsy and cable connectors poorly designed. Each of ours kept coming apart from the cable.

Use to hook up 3 WD external drives to USB 3.0 on desktop pc. Has worked flawless for some time now. Has a fast charging USB port as well. Frees up other ports on pc. Great product with great price.

This product was not what I expected. I realized that I had no use for it and returned it.

I've bought 4 of these, because they were the cheapest model. 2 out of 4 don't work.

It did not work with some of my devices and lacks power management. I returned it.

I bought this to add some more ports to my Xbox 1 S and it works perfectly. My older hub did not keep my Elite controller connected for more than 5 minutes when hard wired. This one has no problem. I also have my External HD and Turtle Beach headset hooked up to it, no problems with either of them. If you need more ports for your Xbox I would recommend this hub.

Bought this to use with our PS4. We have a Disney Infinity base, a cable for my electric guitar (Rocksmith), a 4tb external HDD, and now a PSVR. I have the external HDD plugged directly into one of the ports on the PS4, and this hub plugged into the other. So far, so good!

My husband and I each have several electronic items that need charging each night. We have lived for several years with a power strip and numerous cords to do so. Now we have these small USB ports and purchased shorter cords to go with them. We couldn't be happier

It's a $30 4 port USB hub, so don't expect anything groundbreaking. Charging works well. All the ports face front which is nice. My only issue is the included cords are short, especially the power cable. Short power cables are frustrating since they require short extension cords or rearranging my workspace.

I was going to replace this 4 port hub (can't remember when i bought it now) with a 7 port hub from other companies, but reverted back to this hub for raw speed. Transferring from a Seagate portable drive to a desktop external drive races at 100 MB/sec, which is the rated read rate for the Seagate USB3 portable drive. This rate is with both drives going through the hub and all 4 ports plugged in. The two 7 port "USB3" hubs I have tested so far transfer at slothful rates from 10 to 20 MB/sec ... way too slow when you have Terabytes to move around and organize. I just transferred about 6 Terabytes between various drives yesterday and today, as i am trying to organize 6 years of movie files and photos, and I had no dropouts or disconnects. Kudos to Insignia for a simple reliable hub which achieves its primary goal: moving data fast.
