No more Insignia tv's for me

Had another Insignia tv that had a strange line going down the screen. Turned that into Best Buy to be replaced. Was given this tv to replace it. The new tv was ok, until I noticed that the picture image was offset. Talked to tech support, they told me to unplug the tv for 30 seconds, then plug back in. Doing this worked (temporarily), but I shouldn't have to do this as regularly as I do to enjoy the tv. After the second tv, I have learned to not buy Insignia brand tv's again.

Didn’t last 2 years

I’ve tried trouble shooting, soft reset, etc. Nothing works. All I get is the dreaded red blinking light. I have an old Samsung that is still going after 15 years. I will never buy an insignia tv again. Save your money & buy a better quality tv. This thing didn’t last 2 years.

Just do a quick Google search on how many of these TVs fail weeks after the warranty ends. I purchased this TV in October of 2022, today, Nov 9th, 2023 - the backlight is shot rendering the TV useless. Called BestBuy and their answer was basically "oh well" ... Then they were generous to offer one of their "geeks" to come out for $150 just to diagnose the issue. Then the actual repair would be an additional wait and cost. It's a $180 TV ... Not spending $150 to have a kid in a van tell me what I already know ... Ya get what ya pay for, I guess ... But really bad build quality, and post purchase support. I would absolutely NOT recommend this item to a friend.

Don't Waste Your Time!

I received no calls for updates while it was sent out, thank god for the Best Buy application for the status updates because it seemed like whoever I spoke to from customer support had no clue of what was going on. The final resolution was me receiving a gift card for the initial value of the TV and me spending more to buy a better television (LG) never buying an INSIGNIA TV again.

Issues connecting to computer

The primary use is to use as a monitor for a computer and laptop. Unfortunately, the resolution is poor (pictures are pixelated.) I am using the same cables, equipment from the one that broke and have the same result on every device I connect. Hopefully someone has experienced this and has a solution. Otherwise, I will have to return it.

Do not recommend this brand tv at all

Do not buy unless you would like to replace it often. When it works it’s great but why buy it if it’s not going to last even a year or even a month.

The 50’ stopped working after 7 months and now my 43’ after 1 1/2 year. Absolute garbage!! Im in disbelief how best buy sold me not 1 but 2 defective tv’s. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Viewing angle is unacceptable

In our room, several chairs are off to the side. The image becomes washed out while sitting in those chairs. Head-on the picture is fine. If this TV was placed in front of someone's bed, it would be OK. But don't put it in a room with a range of seating positions. To give you numbers, the seats in our room are 9' from the TV. And the TV is unusable for the chair at 65 degrees from head on. I have another chair that's only 30 degrees from head on. The picture is barely ok at this angle.
