No matter how much and well I clean it the black keeps coming back. It is also very loud and ice gets jammed up

I read reviews before buying and the only thing I was worried about was level of noise. It’s not bad no louder than a dishwasher running, so I would say for me this was a good purchase.

No other lights flashing. Super annoyed. 1 star do not recommend.

Worked great long enough to be out of the return period. Then it started making a loud sound that wouldn’t stop unless you unplugged it. Tried doing several cleaning cycles even with vinegar. It would stop for a few days and start doing it again. We even only used distilled water and it still happens. I regret spending so much on such a worthless product.

I love it but its Slow

Returned it to the store and exchanged it for the newer model of this ice maker and about 30 days of working fine, the motor has locked up again. We only run the water it calls for through it. Now Best Buy says we are unable to return this one to get a refund and upgrade to the GE brand.

Insignia got called by directly and i told them 2 of these in less than the year manufacturer's warranty is ridiculous. needless to say, instead of getting another Insignia i went to a different brand. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.
