I had to return it since it was too loud, it makes ice fast and is good for that if you have it in an area that is not close to any living spaces.

Had this icemaker for about 6 months. Randomly stopped making ice one day. Worked great up until that point. Clean feature works and it turns on, it just wont make ice anymore. Great ice and works fast, just not the best qualitiy machine. Would recommend spending the extra cash getting the GE opal. Better machine and more reliable. Wish i wouldve gotten it initially, but oh well.

I love the ice maker. It is a bit loud. Love having ice all the time. Very easy to clean.

I originally purchased this item back in June 2022. When I received it the unit was dented. I returned it to the store and replaced it. Had that unit about 2 weeks and it stopped turning on. Returned it to the store and had to have another shipped out. I picked that unit up 1 week later and I have had it for less than a month and I am returning it today because at random it makes a noise like gears grinding and it is louder than a leaf blower. It’s a shame it is such poor quality because it makes great ice and makes it fast when you actually have a working unit in your possession.

Well I must say at first I loved it but then it started making a loud screeching noise that kept happening also even after weekly cleaning it just wouldn’t stay clean so in the end I got rid of it and felt like I wasted my money so so mad

So far so good. Great ice, makes a bit much noise! Worried how long it will last as loud and often as it runs!!

Bought ice maker, insignia 44 lb on 4/29/22 and has been ok. Some loud nosies now and then. Bought 4 yr warranty. Now I see unavailable on line. However, it will not make ice. Water level high , 2 days of running very very little ice I need to replace and would like customer service to replace and recommend replacement. Please help. Thanks Rod Waldrop.

Don’t waste your money on this one. I purchased this for my wife for Christmas and it lasted 4 months before having to return. It can wake the dead as it is extremely loud when making ice. The ice itself tastes great, but we also noticed the light icons stopped working within a few weeks after set up. Then it started making a horrible noise at 3am that woke my wife and I up thinking our cat was dying. We literally came rushing out of our bedroom expecting to find our 12 year old cat dying, only to discover it was this ice machine. I will say Best Buy was amazing at returning it and we upgraded to the GE model instead of this one.

I don't have an icemaker in my fridge and can't connect it to water. I was tired of using ice trays or buying ice every other week, so I picked this up. I had looked at a competing model, but it was $200 more at its reduced price. I'd rather "take my chances" with something less expensive to see what happens. I could always exchange this for the competitor if I didn't like it. I've enjoyed this ice machine so far. It makes small ice that's fairly dense, I wouldn't describe it as Sonic ice, but it is int the ballpark. It took about 5 hours to completely fill when I first turned it on, and it keeps the ice topped off throughout the day. The condenser is a little noisy but not too bad, I've heard worse from smaller icemakers. The only noisy part that took some getting used to was the popping. This thing pops the ice off the top of the interior making a loud noise every few hours when it's filling up the container. It isn't loud enough for me to return it but noticeable, especially when trying to take a nap near my kitchen area. I don't notice it at night though and haven't been woken up. All-in-all, a good icemaker that was comparatively inexpensive yet still produces excellent quality ice.

Great ice maker. The ice is perfect for chewing. Take note this ice melts on the fast side. It is true it can be a bit loud but aren’t most ice makers are especially when the ice dumps in the bin. Ice production is pretty good however if it starts taking a while make ice be sure you do a clean cycle. To prevent this we run a clean cycle after 2 or 3 days of usage.

I absolutely LOVE my machine! I am going to actually make a video review on it for my Youtube channel! I highly recommend this ice maker over the other brands. It makes chick fil a ice and soinc ice. It is easy to clean, and fits under my kitchen cabinet on the countertop in the corner perfectly!

So far so good. Easy to set up, started making ice in less than 10 minutes, full within the hour. Drawer easy to open and close. Water Refilling is a breeze. The ice remains frozen all day. It is a bit loud but we don't run it overnight so it doesn't bother us. Overall it's a WIN for us we LOVE it and highly recommend it.

This ice maker worked ok initially, but quickly realized that no matter how often I cleaned it, there was a black substance in the ice. I assumed somewhat normal (due to other reviews regarding mold) so just kept up with deep cleaning every few days. the problem only got worse. then it starting making very loud banging noises right around the year mark stopped working entirely. I read a ton of reviews complaining of the same issues I was having and apparently the company discontinued this model due to this. The customer service people acknowledged that however because I did not purchase the extended warranty I was out of luck.

Loved the ice but broke 6 months later sis not have on everyday either
