This unit is amazing! It cooled our bonus room from 85 degrees down to the lower 70’s. The only thing this needs is a thermostat to cutoff when it reaches the desired temp.

it is a nice unit which keeps the large room cool but has no daily timer. I have had it for over 3 weeks and still have not needed to empty any water. good for sale price

I have central air but my older home's upstairs doesn't cool down like the rest of the house. Works great to supplement my central air.

I was debating which AC unit to get. I did research on several units looking for something around $300 that would be dependable. So far this works great. It's actually slightly quieter than my last unit which was getting old so this is an upgrade. Keeps my studio apartment at a great temp so far.

works exactly as I need it to, I wouldn't expect it to cool large areas but it works well for an apartment.

Cools room quickly,but did see an increase on electric bill

This air conditioner is amazing! The fan works perfectly to keep you cool all night and the a/c is cold! The dry option is even colder! In California it gets around 110 every summer (or more) and my old a/c in the house can’t handle the cool-down. This unit is perfect for those hot days! Best Buy ever.

Good solution for a major problem. My office HVAC stopped working. $3,500 to replace existing. The Insignia portable AC is an economical short term answer for 100 degree days. I can use it for future AC issues after I replace the existing system. Only issue is that the "swing" blades did not open enough to get the cold air out. The box shows blades open @ 90 degrees. I pulled the top blade out a little & it popped off. Not broke. I think the issue may be particular to my unit. Now the cold air flows great. Lots of features. Worth the money!

Works great keeps the room nice and cool, only complaint is the plate that goes in the window was a bit to big and had to cut it.

This will be my second summer with this unit and I still love it. Set it on an enclosed porch and keep that cool for my cats during the day and aim it at my bedroom window to cool that room down at night. Powerful unit that cools the rooms quickly.

I purchased this AC after my bedroom window box one finally died. I don't need the AC all of the time so I wanted one that I could remove when it was not needed. The portable AC does the job very nicely. It's easy to set up. All you need to do is move it near the window and insert the plastic insert and turn it on. The plastic insert fit my window perfectly but I have other windows in which I would have had to trim. This piece should be easier to fit. But other than that, it cools well and is quieter than my old window unit.

Hasn't been much over 80degs yet but has been able to keep two 12x14 rooms comfortable. Got this on a one day sale so the price was good

I love this thing! I have two others in different brands and this one is by far the best. It’s keeping us quite cool this hot summer. Have no idea if the energy bill will skyrocket but oh well. Works great in horizontal sliding windows and isn’t as much of an eye sore as window units.

Cools air quickly in our large living room/ dining room! Does produce a good deal of water that empties into a large bucket we purchased. One other thing: it did not come with a drainage hose but this was easily rectified by a quick trip to the hardware store.

Bought this when my air compressor went out in my home. Needed it only for the weekend till the part came in. Have ended up using this in my sun room to keep cool while in there. Great product.

Its great it cool off my hold back room and when I put a fan in front of it the air goes farther

I like insignia brand a lot. And this portable AC is very good for my master bedroom on the 2nd floor. I can move it around.

This is a great air conditioner for a bedroom or small living room. Slightly loud, but not too bad.

My girlfriend has a gym set up in one of the bedrooms at home with out air conditioning. This unit works great for her, now she can she can roll it outta of the closet and into the bedroom gym and work out comfortably on those warm and hot summer days.
