The unit is quiet yet powerful. It looks great. Works perfectly. And for a room with crank windows it was ideal. The price was just right for what we wanted. And being controlled remotely definitely did not hurt. My son loves it. Which means I really love it.

This unit cools a small room well but is louder than I would like. As long as you don’t mind the noise it’s a decent air conditioning unit.

Cools as designed and easy to set up and vent, bought this for son's room as it is last vent on ac route and always warmer compared to rest of house. Does great job of cooling down his room and I have a very happy high school football player for naps after morning practice.

Works pretty great, cools down my apartment quickly and stays cool for a good amount of time. Super easy and convenient to move around.

Good for a smaller area. Only negative I have is that it is very loud and it makes it so that only half of my blings close.

Purchased the Insignia 450 sq. ft. portable A/C last week and found it easy to set up. Fit into my bedroom window without any problems. Neither exceptionally quiet nor noisy. More than enough power to comfortably cool a sizable bedroom.

My central air went out over Memorial Day weekend and we have been waiting for a part to come in since then. I purchased this item to offset the sauna like settings in my bedroom. I was disappointed when the box was missing the part to secure the exhaust into the window, but I was desperate so I got out the duct tape and some cardboard boxes. I called into customer service and they wanted me to exchange the entire device, but I was too hot for that business. I worked with them to offset the price to adjust for what I had to spend to get the part that I needed. I will be keeping this unit even after my air is fixed, as my bedroom still stays warm in the summer even with central air.

bought three units pretty good using them a lot at least two of them for 2 months now. from last three weeks they started producing a lot and a lot of water no dehumidifier button on my units. all over the floor now i put empty milk gallon with small white tube/hose gallon fills up in abut 10 hours .maybe its august thats y? i dont know and when out side temp is 115 it goes to 86-88 need a fan . but i am happy does very well at temp oo up to 100-105 i think

This AC works great and really cranks out the cool air. However, it is a little frustrating to use it in Houston with the humidity because you have to actually siphon out the water when the internal tank is full. What a hassle! I rigged up a tube and a water catch basin which works to avoid the siphoning issue but it is not ideal. Can’t believe the unit does not have a removable tank so you can just empty the water. All in all my bedroom is really chilly at night so I’m generally happy!

At first I thought this AC was great. It gets ice cold when it’s blowing directly on you. If you aren’t in the direct path things can get a little more warm. Hard to keep a comfortable temperature (typically too cold, or too hot). This was affordable and a decent AC for the price. Truth is no portable AC is as good as a window unit. If you have the capability to use a window unit, do that.

This is a great portable ac delivered earlier than promised date. A bit noisy but we are not much concerned about it. It defintely serves the purpose. The cost was cheaper comparitvely to other air conditioners in the market.

My husband is from England so we needed something to keep us cool during the hot Cali summer. This product is great and cools the room down in minutes. It is quite loud on the lowest fan speed but it gets the job done so worth the noise

The drawback to this was occasionally makes a really loud noise, also for what we needed it too big.

Its a good product and easy to set up. It cools off the whole room i have it in in less than hour.

So I got this portable ac unit and am pleasantly surprised at how cold it gets my big bedroom at night. It might be a bit louder than a window unit but it out performs the window unit hands down. Love it for sure

AC works well, easy to set up and get running. Cools room quickly. Only complaint is the window piece is quite wide and didn’t fit in my window however it was easy enough to find cut down to the right size.

This is the BEST purchase I have ever made, really helps with the electric bill and keeps things really cold. Very easy to set up and control. I would highly recommend!!

Works really great. I bought 3 of these to help cool down individual bedrooms during the hot summer. Guests and kids love the option of really freezing down a room during sleeping. Easy to use and maintain.

First time using a portable AC and I love it! It gets really cold in my room, the noise is not too loud on a low setting , easy set up... I would recommend it !

this is a real nice ac unit for the price. all ac units are a bit loud, but it cools my whole living room down very quickly and even on the dry mode. i only wish this unit had an auto setting.
