I def recomend this Unit. It cools my big room in minutes. It’s not quiet but it doesn’t bother me. Very affordable.

Bought it to use in my room since it's really hot in the summer. Works perfect and very easy to set up. Highly recommend !!!

This portable air conditioner has come in very handy during the hotter months! Convenient and easier to use and cools the room very well. My only complaint is that the back tube does not stay on very well (had to add many layers of duct tape).

Works really well in our basement, the only drawback is the hose does not reach the basement window and we have to put the AC unit on a chair (can't put it on a table since it has casters to make it easy to roll around). Definitely worth it for this summer heat!

I’ve had my Insignia portable air conditioner now for almost 3 weeks and so far it’s been a wise investment. I have air conditioning in the living room but not in my bedroom so I had to do my research and find the best portable AC in the market. I read the reviews for this brand and decided it was the best one and so far it’s worked great. I only have to turn it on for a few hours and it gets the room very cold/cool. I highly recommend this product, you will not be disappointed.

This air conditioning unit works very well and keeps our bedroom cool. It is fairly quiet. My only complaint is that it is doesn’t have an energy efficient button to turn off the air conditioner when it hits the temperature set so it runs all the time.

So far so good. We purchased this item mid-day, during a very hot summer day, and connected it immediately. We let it run for the rest of the day and it seemed to work. Our room does face west, so I am taking that into consideration. But so far so good.

Easy to setup and operate. Good product for the money. I wish it was a little quieter.

This unit was easy to setup, no issues at all. It cools efficiently, even on days of a heat index of 105.

Our central AC went out a few weeks ago. Given the time of year, we could not get a service call scheduled for 2+ weeks. While we were waiting for service, I picked up an Insignia 450 Sq Ft Portable AC unit ad set it up on our first floor. Although designed for use in a much smaller area it did an effective job at keeping most of the first floor reasonably cool. Truly a pleasant surprise and well worth the money spent.

I've owned and utilized the product for two summers and have no complaints of concern. Would prefer if the unit was not as noisy, but that's expected with any air conditioning unit. Overall...good purchase to date.

Purchased this unit for a second floor bedroom. The unit cools the room and most of the second floor pretty well and quickly. The exhaust hose is fairly long which allows you to place the unit pretty much where you want it. The unit has a thermostat but does not turn "off" when the room reaches to the temp you set. Instead the unit switches from AC to simply a fan. This transition emits an occasional loud thump, I say occasional because sometimes when it transitions it is smooth. I don't really feel like returning it because as we sleep it does not wake us up, but when we are awake it's a little annoying. This unit was being run daily between 8-12 hours, and was a little concerned about our utility bill. Surprisingly our bill was only about $10 more than the same month the previous year.

Nice and cold! I use the “swing” on the AC for a second to turn the vent slats up and then stop it there, and that makes sure the whole room gets some AC. It is cold and not any noisier than other versions I owned. It is dry here so we don’t use the dehumidifier ourselves. Like this purchase and am happy we purchased it since it allows us to drop the temp of the bedroom on the sun side to a nice temp for sleeping.
