Great Sound, Easy Setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to be very invested in my sound systems when I was younger, but after a few kids and countless responsibilities that became less important. Now that my kids are a bit older I decided it was time to invest in a good surround sound system. When I saw this Insignia Surround Sound I thought this would be perfect. I remember running speaker wires through the attic and drilling holes in my ceiling and walls to thread speaker wire to speakers around my room. I’ve seen more and more that wireless options have become a very solid choice for surround sound systems. I wanted to see how easy this would be to setup so I asked my wife to set it up for us. She is not very tech savvy and generally has nothing to do with our electronics in our home. She had the entire system setup in less than 10 minutes. It was really just finding spots for all the pieces and plugging them all in to power. Once everything was powered on it was all already synced together and was working flawlessly. We started with some music which sounded amazing. Then we started watching some movies and were very impressed. The speakers do offer very good separation, and sound does feel like it’s coming from all sides. The sub is very impressive and offers a nice punch to explosions in movies. We set this up in our Master bedroom, but it would work really well in a moderate size living room as well. My wife said she wanted to watch all her shows on the new sound system. It was very easy to setup, and the sound is fantastic. This is an easy recommendation.

Great sound, simple set up
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this home theater system set up in my living room. It was super simple to set up AND the sound quality is fantastic. I’ve been pleased with any Insignia product I’ve owned and this home theater system does not disappoint. In the box- there was the sound bar, subwoofer and two small speakers to be set up at the back of the room. A remote(no batteries) and 4 power cables for each piece. Set up- super simple. Once everything is plugged in to power and soundbar connected to the tv, the system connected itself and was ready to go. You do have a few options to tv connection and I chose to use HDMI eARC for what I believe is the clearest option. The system is Dolby atmos and if your shows/tv supports it, the sound quality is that of a much larger system. Home theater systems can be very expensive and get complicated with set up. I would recommend this system to anyone, especially if you’re not trying to break the bank and get great sound. Insignia has always been a hidden gem to me.

Budget surround sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a cheap soundbar so the power compared to other soundbars is lacking however when in use not a huge deal. If you want a surround sound for your bedroom on a budget these will work and do what it needs to. Quality wise its acceptable. All in all its a device that delivers surroundsound at good quality that will meet most expectations.
