It’s a great value and for some people that might be a great fit. But for me, it had too heavy of a hand when it comes to bass. Even with the subwoofer turned all the way down it was way too rumbly and overpowering. The overall sound could be great because the other speakers sound really good. For the price it could be excellent., it just needs to be able to have more control over the base than what is given to you. It really does ruin it in my opinion. All insignia has to do is just allow you to turn it almost all the way down and it would be amazing for the price.

Posted .Hi, Thanks for your review. Could you switch to the night mode and see if that's more preferable to you? The night mode is designed for quiet environment where bass will be significantly reduced.
