We figure it will be much easier to clean out on occasion compared to chest freezer. Short people are at a disadvantage with chest freezers. The nice thing is that Best Buy will trade your freezer if there are dents at no cost to you. Just do it withing the 14 day purchase timeline.

Missing Piece

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We picked up the freezer at a local Best Buy and upon opening there was a piece sitting in the box that appears it broke off. We could not find what it had broken off of so we went ahead and set the freezer up. Upon opening the freezer, we noticed that one of the shelf stabilizer pieces was missing but assumed that we would be able to call the company and have them send us the piece. We went ahead and placed our food in the freezer since this piece was not a major piece and assumed that the company could send it to us soon. After contacting the Insignia customer service number, we were told that the Best Busy store in which we purchased the freezer needed to be called and that they would send us the part. I called Best Buy in Atascocita and was told we have to bring the freezer in and exchange it. I explained how this was super inconvenient as we have no where now to put our frozen food and was basically told, sorry! Terrible customer service. There were also a few more minor things that we were willing to overlook, like a scratch on the inside of the supposed new freezer, and a wrinkly putter seal that needed to be tweaked.
