We just moved and no idea where the original remote is! This one has worked perfectly since we have had it. I month so far... but I do have to say that it is also for an Insignia TV.

This has two serious problems: 1) You have to be very quick or it drops out of Learning Mode and you have to start over 2) If you replace the batteries, it forgets all of that tedious programming. This remote may be good for devices that it is pre-programmed for. But those two Learning Mode issues need to be fixed. I plan to return it. Frustrating.

My son committed to setting up a flat screen - older one, I have but hasn't come through. He claims the technology is dated and probably requires updating to a newer model before he can successfully connect it with the remote. Based on the brand, I would imagine it's a good unit.

It was easy enough to connect, but unfortunately, it has to be re set up every time I turn the TV on again as though it had never been set up previously. I'm taking it back.

Very good universal tv remote

My family complains as the regular remote keeps sliding into the couch and this one will not!!

If you aim too high it won' work either. I've been using the Xfinity remote when changing channels or guide or going to recorded viewings.
