Not the best clear quality but great and works well for the price of 500

the 4k quality isn't really noticeable and looks 1080p

I was really excited when I found a great deal for a 4k smart tv. The excitement didn't last long because this tv has had several issues since the day we plugged it in. First after 3 days one of the HDMI ports stopped working. Then over the next few weeks I was able to see the tv picture but there was NO sound. Now for about the last week I am unable to see the picture but I can hear it!!! So the only thing that works on the TV is netflix. This tv has been a super disappointment and the old samsung is going back up and I have only had this new TV for 2 months !!! Don't waste your money thinking your getting a good deal. Spend the extra to get an actual GOOD quality TV.

After a month of having the tv the speakers started to act up and one of the would only work and sometimes they both work will never again buy this tv brand

The music and loud effects are way too loud. The voices are so low you can't hardly hear them. Haven't noticed much as far as the 4K sharpness of the TV.

Three months after buying the TV, audio was muted. Had to unplug the TV for 10 seconds to reset the TV. Had to do this about twice a week. Best Buy came out and replaced the board. Okay for 3 months then started muting the volume again. Service tech said it was not the TV. It was our Dish receiver. Had to put a toggle switch in the cord for frequent resetting. Never buy an Insignia product again.

Tv went black screen within 1 year of owning it. Replacement product was out of stock

Bought in May. Now in November, there is a 1.5" patch of rainbow lines that go up the entire screen. Have tried everything to remedy, but there's no warranty. Beware.

I would discourage anyone purchasing this item. From the start we were disappointed. Before you can even use your tv you have to pay $69 to use the Roku. Then once roku gives you access they try and sell you all kinds of other television packages. It's quite ridiculous. Don't buy, not worth the aggravation! Too many other better products available.

For the money it's a fair TV but if you can afford it spend a little more and get a better brand TV.

This television require too many additional Devices to be considered a smart television. It does not allow you to search the web and you need an additional antenna and order to watch regular TV channels. This is not what I would expect from a smart television. Do your homework before purchasing this TV it can get quite expensive!

I purchased this TV in 2016. As of yesterday, the picture (tube) is gone! It flashed, then flickered and them it was gone. Audio is still good, just no picture! Is 4 years the new expectation of product existence?

Umm.. I got Insignia™ - 50" Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV on 12/22/16 & the tv died 3/2/18 just 3 months after the one year from the Manufacturer Warrantie ran out so get the Protection Plan !!

This tv over all sucks picture quality is hella poor and the roku that's built in to the tv never even worked so over all I would not recommend this tv at all to know one

The audio went out 2 times in 3 weeks. Very Frustrated! Then heard they no longer sell them and have had many problems with this model.

Just can't beat it for the price. Recently purchased and so far, everything is going well. Sound is decent, picture quality is good, and the Roku OS is great since I am already familiar with the interface. It will take some fine tuning to get the TV set up the way you desire, but it is intuitive. One gripe I have is when adjusting the picture, there is no way to see the actual screen, you have to make adjustments, then confirm the change before you can see what change you actually made.

I would actually give this television a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The Roku TV, wireless functions, and picture quality are superb and quite honestly make watching TV much more enjoyable. The price cannot be beat, I'm still in awe over the quality of the product and the ease of set up. My only complaint is that the speakers aren't as good as I had hoped that they would be. I recommend buying a sound bar (about $100 - $200) to go along with the TV, but other than that. The TV is nothing short of amazing.

I was in the market for a new tv, and when I saw this deal I new I couldn't pass it up. When I finally got home and hooked it up I was thrilled by the easy set up, and I was happy with the roku feature that I haven't seen before but really liked having. It's got a easy menu upon starting up, it pairs to game consoles nicely, and it's just great to use all around! I love the picture quality on some of my more dynamic games, and of course for watching programs. Five stars!! :)

The TV wouldn't update and ultimately I had to bring it back.
