This smart TV is a good buy. If you want a great picture, you'll have to spend a lot more. Side viewing is a bit 'iffy' but straight on is solid. So, for a second (or third) television for not a lot of money, this is the one.

Being hard of hearing the sound is so Hollow I need to use closed captioning.the picture is good. Sometimes when turning on tv the fire tv app comes on and I have a hard time getting to cable TV.goodfor a younger more tech savvy person.

The unit didn’t come with an operators manuel. I found it difficult to set up and learn the basic operation. As far as the quality, the picture is great. I’m sure some of the features would be fantastic if I knew how to work them.

Purchased this because of the cost and also the free Echo that came with it. Only thing I don’t like is that the screen doesn’t ever turn completely off. It always has the backlight on. Maybe I have a defective one.

Bought this TV for my Mom and she hates it, because it's too confusing for her to use. The boxes containing apps and DVR selections keep moving around and she gets confused. I have same TV, but it's Roku version and so much easier to use. Bummer you aren't making that anymore.

I have 3 Insignia TVs. This 50" is my newest TV, and my only "smart TV," purchased 11/2018, less than 4 years ago. Today it stopped working properly, still has sound but if you see the pics attached the screen is toast... How does my newest TV take a dump before my two older Insignia TVs? and it's been used the least of the three. I bought a 2-year Protection Plan which has expired. Very disappointed. I have been buying ONLY Insignia brand since 2012 and those older LCDs (32" and a 39") are still working perfectly. VERY disappointed!!!

I purchased this TV for my mom because it has the Amazon TV built into it and it’s good for her to learn how to use the Amazon fire stick so she can play around with this one and hopefully learn from it I haven’t really tried it yet but I will update this review later on

The ONLY downside of this product is the small remote (can easily be lost/misplaced). But I just found out that you can download an app on your phone and use that as the remote! This is my first Fire TV, my first smart TV, and I am very satisfied!

We give TV's away as a promotion and we ALWAYS get the best deals from Best Buy. We call up, pick them out, they have them ready and help us load them up. Always nice to see the team and they always seem happy to see me. Love this store.

With the price of the TV I knew it wasn’t going to a top of the line for picture quality, but it wasn’t a let down. For $250 it’s a pretty good TV for a bonus room, or bedroom. I like the FireTv feature added into the Tv. It’s nice not having to get a separate fire stick.

I hate that I have to press input to look at tv. Also I can’t cut the tv off and on with my cox remote....I can only use the original remote. Great tv if you love to explore looking at movies or shows on apps.

if you live in a rural area this tv is great. I am in a area where no local tv will come in and no cable providers . There is only one internet provider as well. With wifi from the net it is almost like having free cable. Really happy going to purchase another one.

This smart tv has the most user friendly interface I have ever used. I have had samsungs in the past with poor connectivity, and a very confusing set up. The Insignia is also a great value and has a beautiful display.

Love the display and that it links to my prime account! However when I hook it up to my Bluray player sometimes the screen just goes black and I have to restart the tv for it to link to the Blu-ray player.

We were looking for a quick replacement tv that would not break the bank. We were able to get the same size and with better resolution for a great sale price. We also linked it to our Alexa device and can control it with voice commands.

I love my tv after finally getting set up. Great display screen. Although tricky to switch over to regular HDMI1. I love that after gone from tv awhile it shuts off automatically. I didn't realize I had to purchase a Prime Video account.

We’ve had a 42” Insignia LED TV for almost 10 years. The TV still works great with no issues; it was time to make the change to 4K. Insignia has been a great & dependable brand at a great price so this was our 1st choice!
