But despite having the built in functionality for expanded storage it never worked, and we ran out of storage quite a bit. There's just not enough here. AND the LED backlight failed shortly after the warranty expired. So that's typical.

Posted .Thank you for your comments. Please note, the TV does have a Sleep Timer. You can access that by pressing Home on the remote and then selecting Settings > Sleep Timer.
Another way to access this is to hold down the Home Button on the remote for a few seconds until the Quick Access menu is shown; from that menu you can also set the Sleep Timer.

However it doesn’t last past two years. Second one that I’ve owned and the second I’ve had where the screen dies right at two years of ownership!

To be fair, it was used by an elderly parent who kept it on virtually all the time, but a TV should still last more than a year. Will never buy anything of this brand again.

Had this problem with a previous insignia as well. Feeling like it's just a bad product meant to die right after warranties end to get you to buy a new one. mad

I chose this was one over the others because of the price and the many features.I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw how cheaply the TV is made. The remote is small and also cheaply made.
