Gaps in the screen on the top and the bottom. Bad quality

This TV was a size/resolution upgrade for one of the older TVs we had. It has a nice clean look, thin bezel and overall not very thick (only 3.3"), so good for mounting flat. The picture is really good. Fire TV setup was quick and easy and it took some tinkering with the sound settings to get the best sound for me. I do like that it is a bluetooth remote for navigating once the TV is turned on (similar to other streaming devices we have), so don't have to point directly at it. I also like that I could pair a bluetooth headphone directly so I can watch TV at night without disturbing anyone (don't have to use a phone app and headphones connected to the phone like other devices). The only 4K content I've tried through streaming apps looks good so far. Works great with the other streaming apps we use. Not sure about how live sports will look on it with only a 60Hz refresh rate. While not many, the one of the main issues I've had so far is that there some trouble with app/content icons not displaying, at least not right away. Also, the shape of the back of the remote is a little awkward to me (never used a Fire TV remote before), making it a little difficult to move between buttons, but I just may be used to other remotes with flatter backs. At least the voice control is a nice touch (not in the middle of the night, though :). While I probably wouldn't use it in the media room, it is great as a secondary TV. Overall, not quite an "xLED" display from the big brands, but should be great most.

Less than a month after purchasing, audio goes out

I can not believe I got this TV for the price I did. SO easy to set up, synced to my Amazon account within seconds, all the updates took less than 20 minutes. Picture is awesome, 4K is realistic and the colors or good. I don't have the issues with the sound that other reviewers have stated, I do have a cheaper soundbar, but the remote is of the same channel as the TV so I can not use it. Not much of an issue. looking into a fix (when I try to increase the sound on the sound bar, it fast forwards the TV) I had this TV delivered, there was a free bundle available, got it in 2 days, the delivery company was excellent, I mounted the TV on my entertainment system without problems. This is the 3rd Insignia TV I've purchased over 12 years hand have never had any problems with the brand.

This is a lot of TV for a “fit into the budget” price! For less than $400, you get a 50” screen, HDR-compatible 4K UHD, Quad-core processor for streaming, Amazon Fire TV (more viewing options), remote which includes voice control Amazon Alexa, and very easy setup. In addition, the 3 HDMI inputs and 1 USB input let you connect a lot of peripherals for even more viewing. Yes, all that and more for an affordable price. I expected this to be a good TV, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it actually is. TV reception, streaming video, and watching movies on BD discs are all a pleasure! Oh, let’s not forget streaming music! It’s pretty much a full circle of entertainment opportunity, all without spending $1,000+. If you need/want an affordable TV offering a lot of viewing/listening pleasure, this one is made for you! Heck, buy two, and you still can save money.

This is what and why search and review ... got this tv under 300 dollars and wholly cow first off the sound NO SOUND BAR REQUIRED!!!!! DTS Tru Surround so many apps no cable required ... truly baffled how a tv this caliber is under 300 dollars seriously DO NOT WASTE MONEY!!! Don’t spend 1k 2k whatever K ... the only down side to the tv here is .... ummmmm ....NOTHING!!!!!! Okay why take my advice I am a or at least was a tech person meaning I always kept up with tech always had the latest and greatest I gave it up and just decided to quit spending. Don’t get me wrong yes some minor flaws, who cares this is well worth the money and no buyers remorse!

I really do enjoy this product. It is nice to be able to watch things like YouTube, Netflix, or Hulu on my tv. However, it is especially nice that it is Alexa enabled. There are plenty of apps available to download to make it even more fun to use. However, the main ones that show up right away are Netflix, Hulu, prime video, HBO, Starz, and Showtime. You can watch television on it as well as play music, and it was very easy to set up. Overall, it is a good product.

Great picture, decent sound, excellent price, and easy set-up and integration with Amazon account. But this is the 2nd Insignia LED smart tv I have owned where the picture/video blacks out after 4-5 yrs of regular use and tv has to be replaced.

I love this tv. The color and picture quality is amazing. I really enjoy the fire tv feature. I would recommend the geek squad product protection because technology is so fickle sometimes and things just happen. I happened to get this on sale so I really lucked up!!!

This TV is unbelievably great for the price point. Light in weight (for a 50"), great picture, easy to use, Amazon Fire TV built in, remote that feels good in hand, Easy to set up. Sound... The sound quality on this TV is great! We don't need a sound bar with this one! Loud and clear. We stream Pandora on it and the sound quality is great! Buy this TV. It's awesome!!!

I believe that this is a great entry level 4K smart TV that's perfect for a person on a budget and/or bedroom TV. I am replacing a 46" 1080p Insignia LED TV that's 6 years old in my bedroom. With my PS4 Pro connected, 4K & HDR gaming/video streaming (Netflix 4K HDR) looks amazing. While it isn't up to par in sharpness and clarity like the TV units that cost 10x+ more... it still does a great job versus my previous 1080p unit. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the FireTV OS and looking to upgrade to 4K. Thanks.

I can’t believe I paid under $250 dollars for this TV. The quality is on par or better then my other brand name TV’s costing three times as much. Lightweight, easy to set-up, great picture quality, etc. Simply can’t go wrong for the price. Unless you like to waste money buy this TV.

We purchased this when we moved and needed another TV for the bedroom. Setup was easy, the picture is crisp and clear, and I love that it has the built-in Fire TV! Now I want to replace my older (but still great!) Insignia TV with another one of these...

This 4k screen is one of the most, if not the most affordable 4K tv out there. Excellent response time even at only 60Hz I have experienced zero ghosting, tearing or other artifacts while playing BF, GTA5, World Of Warships, ect. The onboard sound sucks so make sure you get a decent set of speakers. Also, I am running 3 of these, so make sure you have a GTX1080 or better. I took a 30FPS hit at 4K in most games. my CPU is a 5 year old i5 @4ghz with a samsung ssd. Also, make sure the tv is sitting on the desk directly, and not on a 'shelf' otherwise the screen will be 'too big' but if its on the desk with out a shelf, its very immersive!

I Bought this 50 inch tv for my son and I was amazed at the picture quality!! He uses this for his gaming and has 4K. Great picture, easy to use and will be buying 2 more tv’s for other rooms, in the future.

It has an exceptionally great picture, quality sound, and I love the fact it's a smart tv. It's hard to find a tv of this quality at this price point. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far I'm impressed.

I bought this TV almost 6 years ago and was not sure what to expect since it's Best Buy's brand. It's a great TV! It's held up well through a few moves also. When someone asks about TVs, I always tell them to look at Insignia ones.
